Hoffman Estates, Illinois Logo Design

Each and every new Hoffman Estates company realizes that they are in need of a logo, however few new business owners fully realize the crucial role their logo design will perform in their success, or the reason that one business logo functions far better than another. A logo design has a critical and lasting effect on the financial success of a business, select the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of an organization.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Hoffman Estates, Illinois companies succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand deliberation, they can be comprehended in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be timeless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo design of a bicycle created for a Hoffman Estates, Illinois coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and bistro were actually opening in an older section of the area and hoped to cast a vintage vibe without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I fulfilled both tasks by creating a trademark design that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and bacteria made for Hoffman Estates, Illinois clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that researches the causes and effects of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare which works with the clinical assessment of specimens of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the sole instance I recollect in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Typically I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents very literally, but it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and much more memorable.

logo layout with a jumping green frog developed for a family fun facility in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental practices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to incorporate a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more lively high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and a tree - designed for Hoffman Estates, Illinois traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I think it is a niche field because travel photographers don’t capture places or things but instead convey emotional experiences through the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo concept was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they frequently tell entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with mere words. I made an effort to do something very similar to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Hoffman Estates logo but also to illustrate the depth in her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Hoffman Estates logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design jobs that I take on I honestly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but my customer, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy genuinely hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his hatred for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge them to discuss it with colleagues and family as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get honest viewpoints on the value of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they adored the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logos are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that tend to hire an expert to create their business logo recognize how crucial a logo is for their business so they are way more invested in the final result. Every logo design job possesses it’s share of difficulties, but the largest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Hoffman Estates, Illinois book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin parcel of real estate to work with, yet it really is the most crucial part of a published book since it is in most cases the initial thing a person sees in the book store. With respect to a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will ever get to spotlight their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart but it seems like that in many cases 1 of the aspects folks usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a spirit of airline flight and it was undoubtedly a success.

Hoffman Estates logo style utilized for advertising as well as a tag design for Vintage Situation includes an old font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for music instruments, which looked to be older cases. For this custom logo design I tried to come up with a logo that offered a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another era.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, design include an arc with lines converging via it to suggest metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can be one of the most difficult logo projects considering that it appears that almost every dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to business advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dental professionals do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I actually really love doing dental care business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a household not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 characters surprised in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the folks in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to summarize precisely how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that explains itself will never have the chance to be understood.

Logo layout produced for a hair design workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird and a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo design that conveyed a feeling of relaxation and connection for their new hair studio. I came up with a design that didn’t go the obvious path of crafting merely a stylized orchid but alternatively designed a company logo which suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the concept using the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is more often than not the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the focus on the emotion that they really wanted to project to their clients.

Arabian horse logo design created for an equine ranch that focuses on reproducing Arabian program equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo style for a software developer the style functions as well as renowned component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk managing. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a connection in between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it meant something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the significance behind a company logo is just as important as how it serves the business it stands for.

A logo style featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly understood the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a place to sell off their used products to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Hoffman Estates logo design dsign utilizing an image that garners the attention of traffic and sends an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo style has actually an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo concept wasn’t actually composed for an Hoffman Estates, Illinois regional farm it was really designed for a commodities broker, and this creative logo was one of many which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was really to make a graphic that projects confidence, effectiveness, and wealth.

Hoffman Estates Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo layout function for outwardly facing arrow and also the arrowheads imply that it is a ruby shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what type of logo design that they desired, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it grants a designer the liberty to discover any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye without recognizing where the target is. Luckily, in this instance, I hit a bullseye with the very first go.

Logo designed for the use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript typeface that is similar to a renowned sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project in which I worked directly with the business owner to develop a logo design that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
