Lisle Logo Design

Every new Lisle business realizes that they are in need of a logo, yet few entrepreneurs entirely understand the crucial role their logo can perform in their success, or precisely why one business logo functions far better than another. A logo design has an instant and lasting effect on the financial success of a business, choose the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Lisle companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require deliberation, they can be comprehended in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable business logo will remain legible and just as emotive at any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design needs to be timeless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo design of a bicycle developed for a Lisle coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and bistro were actually opening up in an older section of the city and wished to project a nostalgic atmosphere without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I achieved both jobs via designing a sign concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscope slide as well as germs made for Lisle medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that investigates the triggers and consequences of diseases, especially the field of healthcare which works with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Generally I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents very literally, but it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more appealing, more focus grabbing and more meaningful.

logo style with a leaping environment-friendly frog made for a family fun center in Lisle.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the types of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for doctors, dentists, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a better dynamic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and also a tree - designed for Lisle travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but rather communicate emotional journeys through the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of the majority of good photographers in that they frequently convey entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something comparable to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Lisle logo design but also to reveal the depth to her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Lisle logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design projects that I take on I honestly savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A however the customer, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy truly loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his scorn for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage them to talk about it with friends and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get objective opinions on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that tend to hire a professional to design their logo realize how crucial a logo design is for their organization so they are much more vested in the outcome. Every logo design job has it’s portion of challenges, however the biggest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Lisle publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, however it is the most necessary part of a printed book since it is in most cases the initial thing a person views in the book shop. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will likely ever have to publicize their product and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars changed to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go yet it seems that in many cases 1 of the traits consumers tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small new venture commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a good sense of air travel and it was surely a success.

Lisle logo style utilized for advertising and marketing and a tag style for Vintage Instance features an old font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand new cases for musical instruments, that appeared to be vintage cases. For this business logo design I strove to come up with a logo that had a fluid retro feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another era.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Lisle, layout include an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can be one of the most difficult logo design projects considering that it appears that every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business marketing, if restaurants approached their branding in the exact same way dental practitioners do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I actually love doing dental care business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a layout that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a family nonprofit, the logo includes 4 characters staggered in elevation to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to summarize specifically how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that explains itself won’t have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo style produced for a hair layout studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo that projected an atmosphere of ease and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept that did not go the obvious path of making just a stylized orchid but instead designed a business logo that implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the logo design using the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is more often than not the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead placed the emphasis on the emotion that they really wanted to transmit to their customers.

Arabian horse logo design developed for an equine cattle ranch that focuses on breeding Arabian program steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo crafted a one-of-a-kind brand design fashioned to illustrate the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of equines. With a different head shape and high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the highly quite easily recognizable equine lineages in the entire world.

Las Coffee shop logo design a little restaurant, design includes a customized script typeface which hovers over a group of ornate lines and also dots.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo style a small dining establishment, design contains a modified script font style which floats above a team of luxuriant lines and dots.

Logo design for a software developer the style attributes as well as legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive management. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a bridge in between the software program and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it meant something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the symbolism supporting a business logo is just as important as how it serves the organization it stands for.

Advance logo layout developed for a Lisle indoor developer, style feature a series of red circles that converge and replace the letter O in the center of the logo style.

logo style provided for Advanced Leadership Solutions, the characters for letter V and also A in middle of the word advanced have been changed to tie straight right into the words listed below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

A logo style including an angler in the center of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly understood the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a place to market their secondhand items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Lisle logo dsign utilizing a graphic which garners the interest of vehicles and projects an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo design has an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo design wasn’t actually designed for an Lisle area farm it was in reality created for a commodities broker, and this particular business logo was one of several that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was to make an identity that projected confidence, success, and prosperity.
Logo made for the use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font style that is reminiscent of a popular sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed loads of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked directly with the owner to design a business logo that worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
