Loves Park Logo Design

Virtually every new Loves Park venture realizes that they are in need of a logo, but few new business owners fully realize the pivotal role their logo can play in their financial success, or the reason that one business logo functions far better than another. A company logo has an instant and long term impact on the growth of a company, pick the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, select the wrong one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the longevity of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Loves Park companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand deliberation, they can be grasped in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable business logo will be legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design should be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bike created for a Loves Park coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee bar were launching in an old part of town and hoped to project a nostalgic atmosphere without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I achieved each of the tasks by creating a trademark concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo style with a microscope slide and bacteria created for Loves Park clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that researches the causes and effects of diseases, especially the field of medicine that works with the laboratory assessment of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the sole instance I remember where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be overly literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, however it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more interesting, more focus grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo layout with a leaping environment-friendly frog designed for a family enjoyable center in Loves Park.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental professionals, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more lively high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and also a tree - created for Loves Park travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture places or things but rather convey emotional experiences through the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo design was to make use of negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of most professional photographers in that they frequently convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be revealed with mere words. I tried to do something comparable to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Loves Park logo but also to show the depth in her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Loves Park logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design jobs that I take on I truly savor and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A but the client, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy truly despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family did not share his aversion for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage all of them to share it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get objective point of views on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they really loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to design their logo realize how essential a logo design is for their company so they are way more vested in the final result. Every logo design project possesses it’s allotment of obstacles, but the biggest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, design for Loves Park book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, however it is the most necessary part of a published book since it is ordinarily the first thing a person sees in the book store. For a publisher, it’s the opportunity they will likely ever have to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it seems that in many occurrences one of the aspects individuals usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and while I’m not certain it really “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a feeling of air travel and it was surely a winner.

Loves Park logo layout used for advertising as well as a label layout for Vintage Situation features an antiquated font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, that appeared to be much older cases. For this custom logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that offered a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another era.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Loves Park, style consist of an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental business logos can be one of the most challenging logo projects due to the fact that it appears that every single dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to business advertising, if restaurants approached their branding in the very same way dental professionals do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably have an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I actually love doing dentist business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family members not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 personalities startled in height to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization hopes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to summarize how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that describes itself won’t have the chance to be understood.

Logo layout developed for a hair layout studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo design that carried an atmosphere of serenity and elegance for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept that didn’t go the obvious direction of creating simply a stylized orchid but instead designed a business logo which implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the logo design along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is usually the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the focus on the feeling that they really wanted to forecast to their customers.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Cafe logo design a small restaurant, style consists of a modified script font style which floats above a team of luxuriant lines as well as dots.

Logo style for a software program designer the design attributes and also renowned aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive managing. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge between the software program and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it intimated something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the meaning supporting a logo design is equally as important as how it serves the organization it represents.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly realized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a location to market their used items to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Loves Park logo dsign using a graphic that garners the attention of vehicles and projects an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo design has actually an area included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo design wasn’t really created for an Loves Park area farm it was in reality developed for a commodities broker, and this creative logo was one of several which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to develop a graphic that projects esteem, financial success, and opulence.
Logo design created for making use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript typeface that is reminiscent of a famous sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created quite a lot of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked directly with the proprietor to develop a logo design which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
