Orland Park Logo Design

Nearly every new Orland Park business realizes that they are in need of a logo, but few entrepreneurs fully are aware of the key role their logo can perform in their success, or precisely why one logo design works more effectively than another. A business logo has a critical and lasting effect on the prosperity of a company, go with the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Orland Park companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand scrutiny, they can be understood in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will be legible and equally emotive at virtually any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.

Retro logo style of a bike created for a Orland Park coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and bistro were actually launching in an old part of town and wished to project a nostalgic feel without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I achieved both of these jobs via designing a logo concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and germs developed for Orland Park clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that studies the triggers and effects of diseases, especially the field of medicine that deals with the clinical assessment of specimens of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the only instance I recollect in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Normally I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, however it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more appealing, more attention grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo style with a jumping eco-friendly frog developed for a household enjoyable facility in Orland Park.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dentists, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more lively high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I came up with was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a group of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and a tree - designed for Orland Park travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but rather project emotional experiences through the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they frequently convey entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with mere words. I made an effort to do something very similar to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Orland Park logo design but also to illustrate the depth to her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Orland Park logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design projects that I take on I seriously relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but the client, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy really disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family did not share his contempt for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge all of them to share it with colleagues and family members as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get honest point of views on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logos are a strange creature in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their logo recognize how important a logo is for their company so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo design project possesses it’s share of difficulties, but the biggest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Orland Park publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, yet it is the most vital part of a published book because it is in most cases the first thing a person views in the bookstore. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will ever have to promote their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart nevertheless it looks like that in many instances 1 of the things consumers often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small new venture commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their business logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a feeling of air travel and it was definitely a winner.

Orland Park logo style used for advertising and marketing as well as a tag style for Vintage Instance includes an old-fashioned font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, which looked to be much older cases. For this business logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that offered a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different point in time.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Orland Park, design consist of an arc with lines intersecting through it to imply steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can be one of the most difficult logo design jobs due to the fact that it seems that every single dental professional integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business advertising, if restaurants approached their branding in the exact same way dentists do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I actually love doing dentist logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a concept that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family members nonprofit, the logo features 4 characters surprised in elevation to stand for a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the families in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to summarize precisely how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that illustrates itself will never have the chance to be understood.

Logo design produced for a hair design studio including a script font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a company logo that communicated a spirit of simplicity and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a design that did not go the obvious path of designing just a stylized orchid but instead created a logo that suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is oftentimes the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the importance on the emotion that they really wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Arabian steed logo design developed for a horse ranch that focuses on reproducing Arabian program horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo developed a one-of-a-kind business logo design customized to manifest the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of equines. By having an identifiable head form and higher tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the very most quite easily recognizable horse types in the world.

Logo style for a software application programmer the style features as well as legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive operations. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection between the software program and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it represented something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the symbolism behind a company logo is just as important as how it serves the enterprise it represents.

Develop logo design developed for a Orland Park indoor developer, design function a collection of red circles that intersect and also replace the letter O in the center of the logo layout.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

A logo style including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly recognized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a spot to market their previously owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Orland Park logo design dsign along with an illustration that garners the attention of traffic and projects an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo design has actually a field incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo concept wasn’t actually created for an Orland Park regional farm it was actually devised for a commodities broker, and this brand was one of several that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to produce a brand mark that projects confidence, effectiveness, and wealth.
Logo made for the use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font that is evocative a famous sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed loads of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project in which I worked directly with the proprietor to create a business logo that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
