Prospect Heights Logo Design

Every new Prospect Heights organization knows they require a logo, however few entrepreneurs entirely are aware of the pivotal role their logo design can perform in their becoming successful, or exactly why one logo design functions more effectively than another. A company logo has a critical and long term influence on the prosperity of a business, choose the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of a company. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Prospect Heights companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require scrutiny, they can be understood in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will remain legible and just as emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo should be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now.

Retro logo design of a bicycle produced for a Prospect Heights coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and cafe were launching in an old section of town and hoped to visualize an old-fashioned tone without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled the two jobs via designing a custom logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria created for Prospect Heights clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which studies the triggers and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine which works with the laboratory evaluation of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the only instance I call to mind in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, yet it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more interesting, more interest grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo style with a jumping environment-friendly frog developed for a family fun facility in Prospect Heights.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dentists, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the business features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a better dynamic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design including a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Prospect Heights traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but instead project emotional experiences by means of the images they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they oftentimes share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with mere words. I made an effort to do something the same to this logo design by making use of the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Prospect Heights logo but also to show the depth of her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Prospect Heights logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design projects that I take on I truly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A but my client, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy seriously loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members didn’t share his contempt for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage all of them to share it with colleagues and family members as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial viewpoints on the worthiness of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to design their logo understand how crucial a logo is for their business so they are way more invested in the end result. Every logo design job has it’s allotment of challenges, however the greatest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Prospect Heights publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender slice of real estate to work with, yet it is the most necessary part of a printed book given that it is usually the first thing a person sees in the book store. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the opportunity they will likely ever get to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart yet it seems that in many instances one of the aspects consumers usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small new venture commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a feeling of air travel and it was definitely a success.

Prospect Heights logo layout used for marketing and also a tag style for Vintage Case features an archaic font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be vintage cases. For this business logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old style feel to it and could be used for every thing from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another era.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Prospect Heights, design include an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging logo design projects considering that it appears that virtually every dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the very same way dental practitioners do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would most likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really enjoy doing dentistry logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a household not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 personalities startled in elevation to represent a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the families in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization hopes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design which communicated that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to summarize exactly how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo style developed for a hair layout workshop including a script font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo which communicated a feeling of tranquility and elegance for their new hair salon. I created a design that did not go the obvious course of creating just a stylized orchid but rather crafted a business logo which implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the logo design using the figure of a hummingbird floating above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is frequently the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead placed the emphasis on the feeling that they wanted to project to their customers.

Arabian equine logo style developed for an equine ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian program steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo style a little restaurant, layout contains a customized script font which floats over a group of luxuriant lines and also dots.

Logo design for a software developer the design features as well as legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive management. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a connection in between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it meant something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the significance supporting a logo design is equally as important as how it serves the business it stands for.

Progress logo design produced for a Prospect Heights indoor developer, layout attribute a collection of red circles that intersect and also change the letter O in the middle of the logo style.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

logo layout done for Advanced Leadership Solutions, the characters for letter V and also A in middle of the word progressed have actually been changed to connect directly into the words listed below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Prospect Heights logo design project was performed for a leadership coach that aids business leaders to become more efficient at handling people, expectations, and productivity.

A logo style featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly knew the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a place to sell their secondhand equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Prospect Heights business logo dsign with an illustration that captures the attention of vehicles and sends an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo design has actually a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo idea wasn’t really designed for an Prospect Heights area farm it was actually designed for an investments broker, and this company was one of a handful of that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was really to generate a brand mark that projected trust, effectiveness, and luxury.
Logo created for the use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font style that is evocative a well-known sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted dozens of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking where I worked directly with the business owner to develop a logo that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
