Roselle Logo Design

Virtually every new Roselle business knows they are in need of a logo, but few entrepreneurs entirely realize the pivotal role their company logo will perform in their becoming successful, or the reason that one business logo works more effectively than another. A company logo has an instant and sustaining influence on the financial success of a business, pick the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, go with the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the longevity of a business. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Roselle businesses prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require deliberation, they can be comprehended in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will be legible and just as emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design should be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.

Retro logo style of a bicycle developed for a Roselle coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and cafe were launching in an old section of the town and wanted to cast a retro tone without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I achieved the two jobs by means of designing a logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo design with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs developed for Roselle clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that researches the triggers and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine which deals with the clinical examination of samplings of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the sole instance I call to mind where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Normally I try not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents very literally, yet it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more captivating, more attention grabbing and a lot more unforgettable.

logo layout with a leaping environment-friendly frog developed for a household fun facility in Roselle.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental practices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and a tree - designed for Roselle travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture places or things but instead convey emotional experiences through the photos they record. The idea behind this logo design was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of the majority of good photographers in that they often share whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with mere words. I attempted to do something much the same to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Roselle logo but also to illustrate the depth to her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Roselle logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of logo design projects that I take on I truly savor and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but my client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man truly disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family did not share his contempt for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage all of them to share it with colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial judgements on the worthiness of a design. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they really liked the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logos are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their logo understand how vital a logo is for their business so they are way more invested in the result. Every logo job has it’s allotment of obstacles, however the greatest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, design for Roselle publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin slice of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most crucial part of a published book since it is usually the first thing a person sees in the bookstore. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the most ideal opportunity they will ever have to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go however it seems that in many instances 1 of the items consumers often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest new venture commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a sense of airline flight and it was definitely a success.

Roselle logo style made use of for advertising and marketing as well as a label layout for Vintage Situation includes an old font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be older cases. For this business logo concept I sought to come up with a logo that offered a fluid old style feel to it and could easily be used for everything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different point in time.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Roselle, style include an arc with lines intersecting with it to indicate steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo projects because it appears that each and every dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the same way dental practitioners do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I actually love doing dentistry logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and ultimately I created a design that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a household nonprofit, the logo features 4 personalities surprised in elevation to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the families in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization hopes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to illustrate how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that explains itself will never have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo layout developed for a hair style studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a business logo that projected a feeling of simplicity and elegance for their new hair salon. I created a concept which did not go the obvious path of creating just a stylized orchid but instead created a company logo that suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is more often than not the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the importance on the emotion that they really wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Arabian steed logo style developed for a steed ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian show steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo design for a software programmer the style functions and also legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and hard drive operations. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge in between the software and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it symbolized something to the owner of the company and in many cases the symbolism supporting a business logo is just as important as how it serves the enterprise it stands for.

Advance logo style developed for a Roselle interior developer, style function a collection of red circles that converge and change the letter O in the middle of the logo style.

A logo style including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly understood the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a spot to sell their pre-owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Roselle logo dsign using an image that grabs the interest of vehicles and sends an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo design has actually a field incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo design wasn’t really created for an Roselle area farm it was in reality created for an investments broker, and this particular business logo was one of several which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was actually to design an identity that projected trust, financial success, and wealth.
Logo designed for the use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font style that is reminiscent of a renowned sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created loads of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project in which I worked closely with the proprietor to produce a business logo that worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
