Round Lake Logo Design

Nearly every new Round Lake venture knows they are in need of a logo, however few new business owners fully understand the key role their logo can take in their financial success, or exactly why one logo functions far better than another. A business logo has an instant and long-term effect on the financial success of a company, select the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the longevity of a business. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Round Lake companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require contemplation, they can be realized in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will remain legible and equally emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo must be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from now.

Retro logo style of a bicycle produced for a Round Lake coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually launching in an older part of the city and hoped to visualize an old-fashioned atmosphere without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished each of the jobs via creating a sign concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria designed for Round Lake medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which investigates the causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the field of medicine that deals with the laboratory assessment of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents rather literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo design with a leaping green frog made for a family enjoyable facility in Round Lake.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental practices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the business features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to include a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not really reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a better dynamic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design including a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Round Lake travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but instead convey emotional journeys by means of the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of the majority of professional photographers in that they frequently convey whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be conveyed with just words. I attempted to do something comparable to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Round Lake logo design but also to show the depth of her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Round Lake logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design projects that I take on I genuinely savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A however my client, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man genuinely hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members didn’t share his scorn for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage all of them to discuss it with friends and family as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get impartial point of views on the benefit of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they really loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their business logo understand how essential a logo design is for their company so they are much more invested in the final result. Every logo design job possesses it’s allotment of difficulties, but the largest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Round Lake publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow slice of real estate to work with, but it really is the most critical part of a published book considering that it is usually the very first thing a person views in the bookstore. With regard to a publisher, it’s the opportunity they will likely ever get to publicize their product and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go nevertheless it seems like that in many cases 1 of the aspects individuals often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a sense of flight and it was certainly a victory.

Round Lake logo design used for marketing as well as a label layout for Vintage Case includes an antiquated font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be older cases. For this logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that provided a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a web site to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different era.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Round Lake, design consist of an arc with lines intersecting through it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental business logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo projects considering that it appears that every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company marketing, if restaurants approached their branding in the exact same way dental practitioners do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really enjoy doing dentistry logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and inevitably I created a concept that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a household not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 personalities staggered in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the families in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization hopes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to summarize exactly how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo design that illustrates itself won’t have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo style developed for a hair design workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo which conveyed an atmosphere of serenity and elegance for their new hair salon. I came up with a design that didn’t go the obvious path of creating just a stylized orchid but rather delivered a company logo which suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design using the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is in most cases the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the main focus on the emotion that they wanted to transmit to their clients.

Arabian steed logo design developed for a steed cattle ranch that focuses on breeding Arabian program equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo crafted a one-of-a-kind creative logo concept styled to symbolize the unique physical traits of the Arabian pedigree of equines. With a different head form and high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the most immediately recognizable equine types in the whole world.

Logo design for a software program designer the style functions as well as famous component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and drive managing. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it represented something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the substance behind a business logo is equally as important as how it serves the enterprise it stands for.

Advance logo layout developed for a Round Lake indoor developer, design feature a collection of red circles that intersect and replace the letter O in the center of the logo design.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This Round Lake logo design assignment was performed for a management specialist that aids business professionals to become more successful at overseeing people, expectations, and productivity.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly realized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a spot to market their used goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Round Lake business logo dsign with an image that pulls in the attention of traffic and projects an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo design has actually an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo concept wasn’t actually created for an Round Lake area farm it was actually developed for a products broker, and this business logo was one of multiple that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was to develop a graphic that projected esteem, effectiveness, and luxury.
Logo developed for the use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script typeface that is evocative a popular sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created loads of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking where I worked closely with the proprietor to design a business logo that worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
