Fairfield Heights Logo Design

Every new Fairfield Heights organization understands that they need a logo, yet few new business owners entirely are aware of the key role their logo design will take in their financial success, or exactly why one logo functions far better than another. A logo design has an instant and long term effect on the growth of a business, select the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, select the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Fairfield Heights businesses prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand scrutiny, they can be comprehended in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will stay legible and just as emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bike developed for a Fairfield Heights coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffee shop were opening up in an older section of town and wanted to cast a retro feel without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I accomplished the two tasks via creating a company logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo design with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs made for Fairfield Heights clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which investigates the causes and effects of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine that deals with the laboratory assessment of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I remember where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be extremely literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents quite literally, yet it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more interesting, more interest grabbing and a lot more memorable.

logo design with a leaping eco-friendly frog made for a family members fun facility in Fairfield Heights.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dentists, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to integrate a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more dynamic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I came up with was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a group of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and a tree - developed for Fairfield Heights travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area because travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but rather project emotional journeys by means of the photos they capture. The idea behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they often convey entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with just words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Fairfield Heights logo but also to reveal the depth in her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Fairfield Heights logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design projects that I take on I honestly relish and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A however the customer, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man really despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family did not share his contempt for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge all of them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral point of views on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they adored the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their logo design recognize how vital a logo is for their organization so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo project has it’s portion of challenges, however the most significant challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Fairfield Heights publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender slice of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most vital part of a printed book due to the fact that it is in most cases the initial thing a person sees in the bookstore. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will ever get to promote their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go nevertheless it looks like that in many instances one of the aspects folks usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller fledgling commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a spirit of airline flight and it was undoubtedly a winner.

Fairfield Heights logo style utilized for advertising and marketing as well as a label design for Vintage Instance features an old-fashioned font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand-new cases for music instruments, which looked to be much older cases. For this business logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that provided a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be used for anything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different point in time.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Fairfield Heights, layout consist of an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs due to the fact that it appears that every dentist incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dental practices do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would most likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really love doing dentist logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family members not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 personalities staggered in height to represent a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wants to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo design that communicated that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to summarize how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that describes itself won’t have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo design developed for a hair layout workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo design which conveyed an atmosphere of relaxation and class for their new hair salon. I created a concept that did not go the obvious route of creating simply a stylized orchid but instead crafted a company logo which implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the logo design using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is in most cases the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the emphasis on the perception that they really wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Logo layout for a software programmer the style attributes and famous component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and hard drive operations. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge in between the software program and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it symbolized something to the owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism behind a business logo is just as important as how it brands the organization it represents.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly recognized the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a location to sell off their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Fairfield Heights business logo dsign with a graphic which pulls in the attention of traffic and sends an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo style has an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo design wasn’t actually produced for an Fairfield Heights area farm it was actually devised for a commodities broker, and this particular logo design was one of a handful of that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was really to design a image that projects assurance, effectiveness, and luxury.
Logo design designed for making use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font style that is evocative a famous sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created dozens of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked closely with the owner to produce a logo design which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
