Fishers Logo Design

Virtually every new Fishers venture understands that they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs entirely understand the essential role their logo design can play in their financial success, or why one logo functions far better than another. A business logo has a critical and lasting influence on the prosperity of a business, go with the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the life of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Fishers companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand contemplation, they can be comprehended in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will continue to be legible and equally emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.

Retro logo style of a bicycle created for a Fishers coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and cafe were actually opening up in an older part of the area and wanted to cast a vintage feel without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I fulfilled the two tasks by creating a logo concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria created for Fishers medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which analyzes the root causes and effects of diseases, especially the field of medicine which deals with the laboratory evaluation of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the only instance I recall in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Typically I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents very literally, however it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more captivating, more attention grabbing and a lot more unforgettable.

logo layout with a leaping eco-friendly frog designed for a family members enjoyable facility in Fishers.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental offices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a handful of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a more enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I came up with was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Fishers traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality because travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but rather convey emotional journeys by means of the images they record. The thought behind this logo design was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of almost all good photographers in that they frequently share entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with mere words. I tried to do something comparable to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Fishers logo design but also to reveal the depth to her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Fishers logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but my customer, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man seriously despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family didn’t share his hatred for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge them to share it with friends and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get objective point of views on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they adored the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logos are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that tend to hire a professional to create their business logo recognize how important a logo design is for their company so they are much more invested in the result. Every logo project possesses it’s allotment of challenges, but the biggest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Fishers publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender slice of real estate to work with, however it really is the most critical part of a printed book given that it is usually the initial thing a person sees in the book shop. For a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity they will ever have to advertise their label and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart nevertheless it looks like that in many cases 1 of the things individuals usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small startup commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a good sense of airline flight and it was surely a victory.

Fishers logo style made use of for advertising as well as a tag style for Vintage Instance includes an archaic font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be vintage cases. For this business logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old style feel to it and could be used for everything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another era.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Fishers, design consist of an arc with lines converging with it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can easily be one of the most difficult logo design jobs due to the fact that it appears that almost every dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business marketing, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the same way dental practitioners do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would probably contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I actually love doing dental care logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and eventually I created a design that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a family not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 personalities surprised in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be far too literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution hopes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to summarize specifically how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo design that illustrates itself will never have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo design developed for a hair style workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a business logo which related an atmosphere of peace and class for their new hair salon. I created a concept which did not go the obvious course of designing just a stylized orchid but instead crafted a business logo that suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is oftentimes the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the attention on the feeling that they really wanted to transmit to their clients.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo style a little dining establishment, style consists of a customized manuscript font which hovers over a team of ornate lines as well as dots.

Logo style for a software developer the layout functions and also renowned element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and disk management. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection in between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it symbolized something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the substance behind a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the company it stands for.

Advance logo layout produced for a Fishers indoor designer, style attribute a series of red circles that intersect as well as change the letter O in the center of the logo layout.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

logo layout done for Advanced Management Solutions, the characters for letter V and also A in center of the word advanced have been modified to connect directly right into the words below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Fishers logo design job was completed for a leadership expert that aids business leaders to become more effective at managing people, expectations, and productivity.

A logo layout including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly understood the market was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a location to market their secondhand products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Fishers business logo dsign with a graphic which grabs the interest of vehicles and sends an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo style has actually a field integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand idea wasn’t really produced for an Fishers regional farm it was in reality devised for a products broker, and this business logo was one of many that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to develop an identity that projected assurance, success, and luxury.
Logo designed for making use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script typeface that is similar to a popular sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed dozens of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked closely with the proprietor to design a logo design that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
