Schererville Logo Design

Each and every new Schererville organization realizes that they require a logo, yet few new business owners fully understand the key role their business logo will play in their financial success, or exactly why one logo works far better than another. A company logo has an immediate and sustaining influence on the success of a company, select the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, go with the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of a company. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Schererville companies succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand consideration, they can be realized in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will stay legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo needs to be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bike created for a Schererville coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and cafe were opening in an older part of the community and really wanted to project a vintage atmosphere without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I achieved each of the jobs via creating a company logo design that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also germs designed for Schererville clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that studies the triggers and effects of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare that deals with the laboratory assessment of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the only instance I remember where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves rather literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more appealing, more attention grabbing and much more memorable.

logo design with a leaping green frog created for a family enjoyable center in Schererville.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental practices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a better lively high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - created for Schererville traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I think it is a niche profession because travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead communicate emotional experiences by means of the photos they record. The thought behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of almost all good photographers in that they often tell whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be revealed with just words. I tried to do something the same to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Schererville logo but also to show the depth to her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Schererville logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design projects that I take on I truly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A however my customer, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy really hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members didn’t share his aversion for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge all of them to discuss it with colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get unbiased judgements on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they really loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logos are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that tend to hire a professional to create their business logo understand how vital a logo design is for their business so they are much more vested in the outcome. Every logo project has it’s portion of challenges, but the most significant challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, layout for Schererville publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender slice of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most important part of a printed book considering that it is usually the initial thing a person sees in the bookstore. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will ever get to publicize their product and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart yet it seems that in many occurrences 1 of the things people often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest startup commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to conferring a feeling of airline flight and it was surely a victory.

Schererville logo design utilized for advertising and marketing and a tag style for Vintage Situation includes an archaic typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be much older cases. For this custom logo design I strove to come up with a logo that had a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a website to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another generation.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Schererville, style consist of an arc with lines converging with it to indicate metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can be one of the most difficult logo design projects due to the fact that it appears that virtually every dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental practices do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would most likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really love doing dental logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo features 4 characters surprised in height to stand for a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be far too literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo design which communicated that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to describe exactly how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that describes itself will never have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo design created for a hair style studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo design which conveyed an atmosphere of simplicity and class for their new hair salon. I created a concept which didn’t go the obvious course of crafting just a stylized orchid but alternatively crafted a logo design which suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is usually the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the importance on the perception that they wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Arabian equine logo design created for a steed cattle ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian program steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo crafted a one-of-a-kind brand design styled to illustrate the unique physical traits of the Arabian type of equines. By having an identifiable head form and high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the highly immediately identifiable horse lineages in the world.

Logo layout for a software program designer the design attributes as well as legendary element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and disk operations. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it symbolized something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the meaning behind a logo design is just as important as how it serves the company it stands for.

Evolve logo layout created for a Schererville interior developer, layout attribute a series of red circles that intersect and also replace the letter O in the middle of the logo design.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly understood the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a location to market their secondhand goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Schererville logo dsign with an illustration that seizes the interest of vehicles and sends an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo layout has a field incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo idea wasn’t actually developed for an Schererville regional farm it was really developed for a commodities broker, and this brand was one of a handful of which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was to create a graphic that projected assurance, success, and wealth.
Logo design designed for making use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font style that is reminiscent of a popular sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted quite a lot of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking where I worked closely with the owner to develop a business logo which worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
