Leavenworth Logo Design

Each and every new Leavenworth organization knows they require a logo, yet few entrepreneurs entirely realize the essential role their logo design can take in their becoming successful, or the reason that one business logo functions better than another. A logo has an immediate and sustaining effect on the growth of a company, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Leavenworth companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand contemplation, they can be comprehended in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and equally emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design needs to be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo design of a bike produced for a Leavenworth coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening up in an older part of town and really wanted to visualize an old-fashioned atmosphere without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I achieved the two tasks by means of creating a company logo design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo style with a microscope slide and also germs made for Leavenworth clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which examines the triggers and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare which deals with the laboratory examination of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the sole instance I call to mind in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be overly literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more captivating, more interest grabbing and a lot more unforgettable.

logo style with a jumping environment-friendly frog developed for a household enjoyable center in Leavenworth.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental practices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a handful of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not really reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more lively high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Leavenworth travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality because travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but rather project emotional experiences by means of the images they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of the majority of good photographers in that they oftentimes share entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be revealed with just words. I made an effort to do something comparable to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Leavenworth logo but also to reveal the depth of her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Leavenworth logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design jobs that I take on I really take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however the customer, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man seriously despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members didn’t share his contempt for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage all of them to share it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get neutral judgements on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logo designs are a strange creature in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their logo comprehend how crucial a logo is for their business so they are way more invested in the result. Every logo design job has it’s allotment of hurdles, however the largest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, style for Leavenworth publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped piece of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most vital part of a published book because it is often the primary thing a person views in the book shop. For a publisher, it’s the best opportunity that they will likely ever have to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars changed to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart yet it seems like that in many instances one of the traits individuals often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a sense of flight and it was definitely a victory.

Leavenworth logo layout utilized for advertising and marketing and also a tag style for Vintage Instance features an archaic font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, which seemed to be antique cases. For this custom logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that had a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another generation.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Leavenworth, design include an arc with lines converging through it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects considering that it seems that virtually every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the exact same way dental practitioners do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would most likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I actually love doing dentistry logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a layout that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a household not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 characters startled in height to represent a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be far too literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to explain specifically how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that illustrates itself will never have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo style produced for a hair style workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo that communicated a sense of simplicity and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a design that did not go the obvious direction of creating merely a stylized orchid but rather crafted a logo design that suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is frequently the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately laid the importance on the perception that they really wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Logo design for a software programmer the style functions as well as legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and hard drive operations. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it meant something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the substance supporting a logo is just as important as how it serves the organization it stands for.

A logo design featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly realized the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a spot to sell their used goods to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Leavenworth logo design dsign along with an image which garners the interest of vehicles and sends an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo layout has actually an area integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem concept wasn’t really designed for an Leavenworth regional farm it was really created for a products broker, and this particular logo design was one of a handful of that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was actually to create a image that projects self-confidence, success, and opulence.
Logo designed for using an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font style that is reminiscent of a well-known sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted quite a lot of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked closely with the owner to create a logo design that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
