Radcliff Logo Design

Nearly every new Radcliff organization knows they need a logo, yet few new business owners thoroughly grasp the crucial role their logo can make in their becoming successful, or exactly why one logo design performs better than another. A logo design has an instant and sustaining influence on the success of a company, pick the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life span of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Radcliff companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand consideration, they can be grasped in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will be legible and just as emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.

Retro logo design of a bicycle developed for a Radcliff coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffee bar were opening in an older section of the town and really wanted to project a retro tone without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I fulfilled both jobs via developing a logo design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide as well as bacteria designed for Radcliff clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which researches the causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the field of healthcare that deals with the laboratory evaluation of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the only instance I recollect in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be overly literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves very literally, yet it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more appealing, more attention grabbing and more memorable.

logo design with a leaping environment-friendly frog designed for a family fun facility in Radcliff.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental practices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to include a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a much more lively high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo including a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and also a tree - designed for Radcliff traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I think it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but rather reveal emotional journeys by means of the photos they capture. The thought behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of the majority of good photographers in that they frequently tell whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with just words. I made an effort to do something the same to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Radcliff logo design but also to illustrate the depth of her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Radcliff logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design projects that I take on I truly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A however my client, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy seriously despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members didn’t share his aversion for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge all of them to share it with colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral viewpoints on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they really liked the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logo designs are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their logo design comprehend how important a logo is for their organization so they are much more vested in the final result. Every logo design project possesses it’s allotment of difficulties, but the greatest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, style for Radcliff publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, yet it is the most critical part of a printed book given that it is in most cases the initial thing a person views in the book store. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will likely ever have to promote their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart however it looks like that in many instances one of the aspects individuals usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest startup commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a feeling of flight and it was undoubtedly a victory.

Radcliff logo design used for marketing and also a tag layout for Vintage Situation features an antiquated typeface layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be much older cases. For this business logo design I sought to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a web site to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another point in time.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Radcliff, layout include an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects considering that it seems that almost every dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business marketing, if restaurants approached their branding in the same way dental professionals do every one of their logos would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I actually love doing dental care business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a design that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a family not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 characters startled in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo design which communicated that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to describe precisely how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If viewers have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that explains itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo design produced for a hair layout studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a business logo that communicated a spirit of relaxation and elegance for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept which did not go the obvious course of creating merely a stylized orchid but alternatively delivered a business logo that suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl blended into the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the concept using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is frequently the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the attention on the feeling that they really wanted to transmit to their clients.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo style for a software application developer the design attributes and renowned component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive operations. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a bridge in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it symbolized something to the owner of the company and in many cases the symbolism behind a business logo is equally as important as how it serves the enterprise it stands for.

A logo design including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly realized the market was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a place to sell off their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Radcliff business logo dsign along with an illustration that garners the attention of vehicles and projects an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo layout has a field included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand idea wasn’t actually created for an Radcliff regional farm it was in reality devised for a products broker, and this particular creative logo was one of multiple that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was actually to develop an identity that projected self-assurance, effectiveness, and prosperity.
Logo made for using a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script typeface that is reminiscent of a popular sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted quite a lot of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project in which I worked directly with the business owner to design a business logo which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
