Estelle Logo Design

Each and every new Estelle venture understands that they require a logo, yet few new business owners thoroughly recognize the key role their logo design can perform in their becoming successful, or the reason that one logo functions far better than another. A business logo has an instant and sustaining impact on the growth of a business, go with the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the longevity of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Estelle businesses prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require consideration, they can be realized in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will be legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle created for a Estelle coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffeehouse were opening in an old section of the town and really wanted to visualize a nostalgic tone without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I accomplished each of the tasks by creating a custom logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo style with a microscope slide and germs made for Estelle clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that analyzes the root causes and effects of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine which deals with the laboratory evaluation of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be overly literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more interesting, more focus grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo design with a jumping green frog designed for a household enjoyable center in Estelle.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental professionals, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a handful of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more dynamic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design including a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - made for Estelle travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but instead convey emotional experiences through the images they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of the majority of professional photographers in that they frequently tell whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be conveyed with just words. I tried to do something the same to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Estelle logo but also to show the depth to her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Estelle logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely enjoy and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but the client, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man genuinely hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his aversion for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage all of them to discuss it with friends and family as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get neutral point of views on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they really liked the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a strange animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to design their logo design realize how essential a logo design is for their company so they are way more invested in the outcome. Every logo design job has it’s share of difficulties, but the most significant obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Estelle book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin parcel of real estate to work with, but it really is the most necessary part of a published book given that it is usually the first thing a person sees in the book store. For a publishing company, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will ever get to publicize their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart yet it seems like that in many instances 1 of the things individuals often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller startup commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to conferring a sense of air travel and it was certainly a victory.

Estelle logo design used for advertising and a label style for Vintage Situation includes an old font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, that looked to be much older cases. For this brand design I sought to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old style feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another point in time.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Estelle, layout include an arc with lines intersecting with it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo jobs due to the fact that it appears that almost every dental professional integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business marketing, if restaurants approached their branding in the same way dentists do every one of their logos would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would most likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really enjoy doing dental care logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a design that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family members not-for-profit, the logo features 4 personalities staggered in height to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the people in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to summarize specifically how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that illustrates itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo design produced for a hair design studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a business logo which projected an atmosphere of ease and connection for their new hair salon. I created a concept that didn’t go the obvious path of creating merely a stylized orchid but rather delivered a business logo that suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is frequently the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the attention on the perception that they really wanted to project to their customers.

Arabian horse logo design produced for an equine cattle ranch that focuses on reproducing Arabian show equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo style for a software application developer the design features as well as legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk operations. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection between the software program and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it intimated something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the significance behind a logo design is equally as important as how it brands the enterprise it represents.

Advance logo layout developed for a Estelle interior developer, design feature a collection of red circles that converge as well as change the letter O in the middle of the logo layout.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly knew the market was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a spot to market their secondhand items to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Estelle logo dsign along with an illustration which captures the interest of vehicles and sends an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo design has actually an area integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem design wasn’t really designed for an Estelle regional farm it was in reality created for a products broker, and this company was one of several which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to create an identity that projected self-assurance, effectiveness, and wealth.
Logo design created for making use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font style that is similar to a popular sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created quite a lot of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked closely with the business owner to create a logo that worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
