Sulphur Logo Design

Each and every new Sulphur business understands that they are in need of a logo, but few new business owners entirely understand the essential role their organization logo can take in their becoming successful, or the reason that one business logo functions far better than another. A logo design has a critical and lasting influence on the prosperity of a company, go with the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of a company. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Sulphur businesses succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require contemplation, they can be understood in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and equally emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.

Retro logo design of a bike developed for a Sulphur coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee shop were launching in an older part of the city and wished to project a nostalgic feel without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I achieved both jobs via designing a company logo concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and also germs created for Sulphur medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which examines the causes and consequences of diseases, especially the field of healthcare that works with the clinical examination of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I recollect where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents quite literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more captivating, more attention grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo style with a jumping eco-friendly frog created for a family fun center in Sulphur.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the company features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to feature a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a group of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and a tree - made for Sulphur travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality because travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but instead project emotional journeys by means of the photos they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they oftentimes tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be conveyed with just words. I attempted to do something much the same to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Sulphur logo but also to illustrate the depth of her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Sulphur logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design projects that I take on I really relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but my client, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy truly loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family did not share his scorn for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage them to share it with friends and family as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral opinions on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Business logos are a strange creature in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their logo recognize how crucial a logo is for their business so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo design project has it’s share of difficulties, but the greatest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Sulphur publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, yet it is the most critical part of a published book because it is ordinarily the primary thing a person views in the bookstore. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity they will likely ever get to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart nevertheless it seems that in many cases 1 of the things people tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller new venture commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a good sense of air travel and it was undoubtedly a victory.

Sulphur logo design made use of for advertising and marketing and also a tag design for Vintage Instance features an old font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for musical instruments, which seemed to be antique cases. For this brand design I attempted to come up with a logo that offered a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be utilized for every thing from a web site to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another era.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Sulphur, layout include an arc with lines converging with it to suggest steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logos can be one of the most challenging logo projects due to the fact that it appears that each and every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dental offices do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I actually love doing dental logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 personalities staggered in height to stand for a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to describe how people should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If you have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo style produced for a hair style studio including a script font a hummingbird and an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a company logo which carried a sense of relaxation and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept which did not go the obvious course of designing just a stylized orchid but alternatively created a business logo that suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is generally the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead put the emphasis on the emotion that they wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo designed an original logo design styled to manifest the unique physical traits of the Arabian pedigree of equines. By having a different head shape and high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the very most immediately recognizable equine lineages in the entire world.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Cafe logo design a small dining establishment, layout consists of a changed manuscript font style which floats over a group of ornate lines as well as dots.

Logo layout for a software designer the style attributes as well as legendary element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive managing. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a bridge in between the software program and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it meant something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the significance supporting a logo is equally as important as how it serves the organization it represents.

Evolve logo layout produced for a Sulphur interior developer, style feature a collection of red circles that converge and also replace the letter O in the center of the logo design.

logo layout provided for Advanced Management Solutions, the characters for letter V and A in center of the word advanced have been modified to link directly into words listed below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This Sulphur logo design project was carried out for a leadership expert that aids business professionals to develop into more efficient at overseeing people, expectations, and profitability.

A logo style featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly understood the market was primed for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a spot to sell their previously owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Sulphur logo design dsign utilizing an illustration that garners the attention of vehicles and projects an image that wakens the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo layout has an area integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem design wasn’t really designed for an Sulphur area farm it was actually created for a commodities broker, and this particular company was one of many which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to design an identity that projected self-assurance, financial success, and luxury.
Logo developed for the use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font style that is similar to a famous sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created dozens of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking in which I worked closely with the proprietor to develop a logo which worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
