Brunswick Logo Design

Every new Brunswick organization realizes that they are in need of a logo, yet few new business owners entirely comprehend the vital role their company logo will play in their financial success, or precisely why one logo works more effectively than another. A logo design has an instant and sustaining effect on the prosperity of a company, pick the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the life of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Brunswick companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require consideration, they can be understood in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will continue to be legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo needs to be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bike created for a Brunswick coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee shop were actually opening up in an older part of town and really wanted to cast a nostalgic feel without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I fulfilled both of these tasks by means of developing a company logo design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo layout with a microscope slide and bacteria created for Brunswick clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which examines the root causes and consequences of diseases, especially the branch of medicine that deals with the laboratory assessment of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I recollect in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Normally I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves quite literally, yet it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and even more memorable.

logo layout with a jumping green frog made for a family members enjoyable center in Brunswick.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a better enthusiastic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design including a group of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and a tree - designed for Brunswick traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I think it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but rather communicate emotional journeys by means of the pictures they record. The idea behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of the majority of professional photographers in that they often share entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be conveyed with just words. I attempted to do something very similar to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Brunswick logo but also to show the depth of her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Brunswick logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design projects that I take on I genuinely take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but my customer, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy truly loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members did not share his contempt for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge all of them to share it with colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get unbiased judgements on the merit of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they really loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Business logos are a strange creature in the design world because the people that tend to hire an expert to create their logo design recognize how essential a logo design is for their organization so they are much more vested in the result. Every logo design job has it’s portion of challenges, however the greatest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, layout for Brunswick book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, however it really is the most essential part of a published book because it is usually the first thing a person views in the book store. For a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity that they will ever have to spotlight their label and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart but it seems like that in many occurrences 1 of the items individuals usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller start-up commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a spirit of flight and it was certainly a victory.

Brunswick logo design utilized for marketing and also a label design for Vintage Instance features an old-fashioned typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be older cases. For this logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another generation.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Brunswick, layout include an arc with lines intersecting via it to indicate steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can be one of the most difficult logo design projects due to the fact that it appears that every single dentist incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to business branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental offices do every one of their logo designs would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I actually love doing dentistry business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a household not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 characters startled in elevation to represent a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization hopes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to summarize specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo layout produced for a hair style studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a company logo that projected a feeling of calmness and connection for their new hair studio. I came up with a design that did not go the obvious path of making simply a stylized orchid but alternatively created a company logo which suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the logo design using the figure of a hummingbird floating over the image itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is frequently the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead placed the focus on the perception that they really wanted to forecast to their clients.

Arabian steed logo layout produced for an equine ranch that specializes in reproducing Arabian program steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo created a distinct brand design fashioned to embody the unique physical traits of the Arabian pedigree of horses. By having a different head form and very high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the highly quite easily identifiable equine lineages in the entire world.

Logo style for a software program developer the design functions and also famous component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive operations. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a bridge in between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it symbolized something to the owner of the business and in many cases the meaning behind a logo design is just as important as how it brands the company it stands for.

A logo style including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly realized the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a location to sell off their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Brunswick logo design dsign using an illustration which pulls in the attention of vehicles and projects an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo style has an area integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand design wasn’t really designed for an Brunswick area farm it was actually developed for a products broker, and this particular logo design was one of multiple that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was to develop a graphic that projected confidence, success, and wealth.
Logo design made for the use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font that is reminiscent of a famous sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created dozens of restaurant logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking in which I worked closely with the proprietor to design a business logo that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
