Maricopa Logo Design

Nearly every new Maricopa business knows they are in need of a logo, however few new business owners thoroughly grasp the pivotal role their company logo can make in their becoming successful, or the reason that one logo performs more effectively than another. A logo has an instant and sustaining impact on the prosperity of a company, go with the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the longevity of an organization. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Maricopa businesses prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require deliberation, they can be realized in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will continue to be legible and equally emotive at any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from now.

Retro logo style of a bicycle developed for a Maricopa coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee shop were opening up in an older part of the city and hoped to visualize a retro tone without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I achieved each of the jobs via developing a custom logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscope slide and also germs made for Maricopa clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which examines the triggers and effects of diseases, mainly the field of medicine that deals with the clinical evaluation of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves very literally, however it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and even more memorable.

logo style with a jumping green frog developed for a family members enjoyable facility in Maricopa.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental offices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more lively high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design including a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - made for Maricopa travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but rather convey emotional journeys through the photos they record. The idea behind this logo design was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they frequently tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with mere words. I made an effort to do something comparable to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Maricopa logo but also to reveal the depth of her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Maricopa logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design jobs that I take on I honestly savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A but my customer, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy really despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members didn’t share his hatred for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge all of them to share it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial judgements on the value of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they really liked the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to design their business logo understand how crucial a logo design is for their organization so they are much more invested in the end result. Every logo project has it’s portion of difficulties, however the largest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, style for Maricopa book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow piece of real estate to work with, however it is the most important part of a published book given that it is in most cases the first thing a person sees in the book shop. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the opportunity they will ever get to publicize their product and get their logo design in front of the individuals that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go nevertheless it seems like that in many cases 1 of the aspects individuals usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small start-up commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a sense of airline flight and it was surely a winner.

Maricopa logo layout used for advertising and marketing and a label style for Vintage Situation features an old-fashioned font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be vintage cases. For this brand concept I tried to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a web page to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different generation.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Maricopa, layout consist of an arc with lines intersecting through it to imply steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo projects due to the fact that it appears that every single dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dental professionals do every one of their logo designs would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I really enjoy doing dental care business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a household nonprofit, the logo design features 4 personalities surprised in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the families in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization hopes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to describe how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo style created for a hair style studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo design which carried a sense of peace and connection for their new hair studio. I created a concept that did not go the obvious route of creating simply a stylized orchid but rather crafted a business logo that implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl featured into the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is more often than not the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead put the attention on the feeling that they really wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Logo layout for a software programmer the design functions and also legendary element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive management. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection in between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it meant something to the owner of the company and in many cases the meaning behind a logo design is just as important as how it serves the company it stands for.

A logo layout including an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly knew the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a place to sell off their pre-owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Maricopa business logo dsign with an illustration which garners the attention of traffic and projects an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo layout has actually an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo idea wasn’t really produced for an Maricopa regional farm it was in reality created for an investments broker, and this company logo was one of many that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to produce an identity that projects confidence, financial success, and affluence.
Logo design made for making use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript typeface that is similar to a famous sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed loads of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking where I worked directly with the business owner to produce a logo that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
