Arnold Logo Design

Nearly every new Arnold organization understands that they need a logo, however few new business owners fully recognize the essential role their organization logo will take in their becoming successful, or exactly why one logo design performs better than another. A logo design has an instant and lasting impact on the growth of a company, choose the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the life of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Arnold companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand deliberation, they can be comprehended in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable business logo will be legible and just as emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo design of a bicycle created for a Arnold coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening in an old section of the community and wanted to cast a vintage atmosphere without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I achieved both tasks by means of designing a trademark concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and also germs developed for Arnold medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that studies the root causes and effects of diseases, especially the field of healthcare which deals with the clinical evaluation of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Typically I try not to be extremely literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves rather literally, yet it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more captivating, more interest grabbing and a lot more unforgettable.

logo layout with a jumping green frog made for a household enjoyable facility in Arnold.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental practices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to feature a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and a tree - designed for Arnold traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but rather convey emotional experiences through the photos they capture. The thought behind this logo composition was to use negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of the majority of professional photographers in that they frequently share entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be conveyed with just words. I attempted to do something much the same to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Arnold logo design but also to reveal the depth in her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Arnold logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design projects that I take on I genuinely savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but my client, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy seriously disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family didn’t share his hatred for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to discuss it with colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial viewpoints on the value of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they really liked the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logos are a strange creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their logo design recognize how vital a logo design is for their business so they are way more vested in the final result. Every logo job possesses it’s share of obstacles, however the largest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, design for Arnold publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow slice of real estate to work with, however it really is the most critical part of a printed book since it is often the first thing a person views in the book shop. Regarding a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will ever have to promote their product and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart however it seems like that in many occurrences one of the things people tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young fledgling commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a good sense of airline flight and it was undoubtedly a winner.

Arnold logo design made use of for marketing and a label style for Vintage Situation features an antiquated typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be antique cases. For this logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that provided a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a web page to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another generation.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Arnold, style include an arc with lines intersecting via it to indicate steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design jobs because it seems that each and every dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to business marketing, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would most likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really enjoy doing dentist business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and inevitably I created a design that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a household nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 personalities staggered in elevation to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wants to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to illustrate specifically how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If people have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that explains itself won’t have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo layout created for a hair design studio including a script font a hummingbird and an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a company logo which communicated a sense of tranquility and connection for their new hair salon. I created a concept which did not go the obvious path of designing just a stylized orchid but instead delivered a logo which suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is usually the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead placed the focus on the emotion that they wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Arabian equine logo design developed for an equine ranch that specializes in reproducing Arabian show equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Cafe logo style a small dining establishment, style includes a customized manuscript typeface which floats above a team of elaborate lines as well as dots.

Logo layout for a software program developer the style functions and also renowned element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive management. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a connection between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it represented something to the owner of the company and in many cases the meaning behind a business logo is equally as important as how it brands the business it represents.

Advance logo style created for a Arnold interior designer, layout function a series of red circles that intersect and change the letter O in the middle of the logo design.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

Evolv Design is a Arnold interior design company and this logo design is representational of the work that an interior designer does in. An interior designer is somebody who arranges, explores, collaborates, and manages such tasks. Interior design is a multifaceted occupation that includes conceptual development, area planning, location evaluations, programming, study, interacting with the stakeholders of a project, building and construction management, and implementation of the design.

A logo style including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly realized the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a location to sell off their pre-owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Arnold business logo dsign using an image that captures the interest of vehicles and sends an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo layout has actually an area included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo idea wasn’t really created for an Arnold area farm it was in reality devised for a products broker, and this business logo was one of many that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to make an identity that projects esteem, financial success, and affluence.
Logo design created for the use of a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is reminiscent of a renowned sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created dozens of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked closely with the business owner to design a logo design which worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
