Danvers Logo Design

Virtually every new Danvers business understands that they require a logo, but few new business owners fully realize the crucial role their logo can take in their success, or exactly why one logo design functions more effectively than another. A business logo has an instant and long term effect on the growth of a company, go with the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, select the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life span of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Danvers businesses succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require scrutiny, they can be understood in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will remain legible and just as emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design should be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo style of a bicycle created for a Danvers coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee shop were opening in an old section of the community and really wanted to cast a retro vibe without coming across as boring or low energy. I accomplished the two tasks by means of creating a business logo concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscope slide as well as germs designed for Danvers clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that analyzes the root causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of medicine that deals with the clinical examination of samples of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the only instance I recall where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, however it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more intriguing, more attention grabbing and more memorable.

logo design with a leaping environment-friendly frog developed for a family fun center in Danvers.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental experts, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to feature a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - developed for Danvers traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but instead convey emotional journeys through the photos they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of the majority of good photographers in that they frequently tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be revealed with just words. I made an effort to do something very similar to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Danvers logo but also to reveal the depth of her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Danvers logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design projects that I take on I really relish and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A but the customer, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man really disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family didn’t share his scorn for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get unprejudiced judgements on the benefit of a design concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they really loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logos are a weird animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their logo recognize how crucial a logo design is for their organization so they are way more invested in the end result. Every logo job has it’s allotment of hurdles, but the most significant obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Danvers book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, but it really is the most vital part of a published book because it is in most cases the first thing a person views in the book store. With regard to a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will likely ever get to publicize their product and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart but it looks like that in many occurrences 1 of the aspects consumers often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small new venture commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a spirit of airline flight and it was surely a winner.

Danvers logo style made use of for advertising and also a label layout for Vintage Instance features an antiquated font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand-new cases for music instruments, which appeared to be much older cases. For this brand concept I attempted to come up with a logo that offered a fluid retro feel to it and could be used for everything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another generation.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Danvers, design include an arc with lines converging through it to suggest metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects considering that it seems that every dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company branding, if restaurants approached their branding in the same way dental professionals do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really love doing dental care logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and inevitably I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a household not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 characters surprised in height to represent a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wishes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo that communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to explain exactly how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that describes itself will never have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo style created for a hair design workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a company logo that communicated a spirit of contentment and elegance for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept which did not go the obvious path of designing simply a stylized orchid but instead created a company logo which implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is more often than not the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the attention on the emotion that they really wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Arabian steed logo design developed for an equine cattle ranch that specializes in breeding Arabian show steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo designed a one-of-a-kind logotype concept styled to illustrate the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of horses. By having a different head form and high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the most immediately identifiable horse lineages in the world.

Logo design for a software program designer the style attributes and famous component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and disk operations. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a bridge between the software and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it intimated something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the substance behind a company logo is just as important as how it serves the organization it stands for.

Develop logo layout produced for a Danvers indoor developer, design function a collection of red circles that converge and also replace the letter O in the middle of the logo design.

A logo design including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly realized the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a location to sell off their used equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Danvers business logo dsign utilizing an image which grabs the interest of traffic and projects an image that wakens the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo design has actually an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo idea wasn’t actually created for an Danvers regional farm it was really devised for a commodities broker, and this creative logo was one of many that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to create a graphic that projects assurance, financial success, and wealth.
Logo created for making use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font style that is similar to a popular sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed quite a lot of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked directly with the proprietor to design a logo design which worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
