Fall River, Massachusetts Logo Design

Virtually every new Fall River business knows they require a logo, however few entrepreneurs fully recognize the pivotal role their organization logo will take in their financial success, or precisely why one logo design works far better than another. A business logo has an immediate and long-term influence on the prosperity of a business, choose the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, select the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of a business.

The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Fall River, Massachusetts companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand scrutiny, they can be understood in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and equally emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo layout of a bicycle produced for a Fall River, Massachusetts coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and cafe were opening in an old part of the town and hoped to project a nostalgic tone without coming across as boring or low energy. I fulfilled both jobs by creating a sign design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo layout with a microscope slide and also germs made for Fall River, Massachusetts medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that investigates the triggers and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare which deals with the laboratory evaluation of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I recollect in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Generally I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more interesting, more interest grabbing and more meaningful.

logo design with a jumping environment-friendly frog developed for a household enjoyable facility in Fall River, Massachusetts.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for doctors, dentists, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to feature a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more dynamic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I came up with was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and also a tree - designed for Fall River, Massachusetts travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality because travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but instead convey emotional journeys through the photos they record. The idea behind this logo design was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they oftentimes convey entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be conveyed with mere words. I attempted to do something similar to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Fall River logo design but also to show the depth of her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Fall River logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design projects that I take on I really take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A however the customer, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy really hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family did not share his scorn for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get neutral opinions on the value of a concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they really liked the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logo designs are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that tend to hire an expert to create their logo design comprehend how vital a logo is for their organization so they are way more invested in the result. Every logo job has it’s allotment of hurdles, however the most significant obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Fall River, Massachusetts publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow parcel of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most essential part of a published book since it is usually the very first thing a person views in the book store. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity that they will ever have to promote their label and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it seems that in many cases 1 of the items individuals usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small start-up commuter/shuttle airline situated in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a spirit of flight and it was certainly a success.

Fall River logo design used for advertising and also a tag layout for Vintage Case features an antiquated font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, which looked to be antique cases. For this custom logo design I strove to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be used for everything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another point in time.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Fall River, Massachusetts, layout include an arc with lines converging through it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can be one of the most difficult logo design projects due to the fact that it appears that almost every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company marketing, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental offices do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would probably include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I actually enjoy doing dentistry logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a family members nonprofit, the logo includes 4 personalities startled in height to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the families in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution hopes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that communicated that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to summarize precisely how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that illustrates itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo design produced for a hair style workshop including a script font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a business logo that carried a feeling of simplicity and class for their new hair salon. I created a design that didn’t go the obvious course of creating merely a stylized orchid but instead created a logo design which implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is oftentimes the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead placed the attention on the feeling that they wanted to project to their patrons.

Logo design for a software programmer the design features and renowned element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk operations. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a connection in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it intimated something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the significance supporting a company logo is just as important as how it brands the enterprise it represents.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly knew the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a spot to sell off their used items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Fall River business logo dsign utilizing an illustration that garners the interest of traffic and projects an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo layout has a field included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo idea wasn’t actually created for an Fall River, Massachusetts regional farm it was actually devised for a commodities broker, and this trademark was one of several that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was actually to produce an identity that projected confidence, effectiveness, and prosperity.

Fall River Logo design for a not-for-profit, Turning Factor Solutions - the logo layout feature for outwardly encountering arrow as well as the arrowheads indicate that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what type of logo design they desired, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the liberty to discover any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s hard to hit a bullseye in the absence of knowing where the target is. Luckily, in this particular case, I nailed a bullseye with the 1st shot.

Logo created for using a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font style that is reminiscent of a popular sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created loads of restaurant logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked closely with the proprietor to design a logo that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
