Leominster, Massachusetts Logo Design

Every new Leominster organization understands that they need a logo, yet few new business owners entirely understand the crucial role their organization logo will play in their becoming successful, or precisely why one logo performs far better than another. A business logo has an instant and lasting impact on the growth of a company, go with the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of an organization.

The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Leominster, Massachusetts companies succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require consideration, they can be understood in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will stay legible and equally emotive at virtually any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo design of a bicycle developed for a Leominster, Massachusetts coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffeehouse were opening in an older section of the community and wanted to visualize a vintage vibe without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled the two jobs by means of designing a business logo concept that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscope slide and bacteria made for Leominster, Massachusetts medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that investigates the triggers and effects of diseases, mainly the field of medicine that deals with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves very literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more interesting, more attention grabbing and more meaningful.

logo layout with a jumping eco-friendly frog developed for a household fun center in Leominster, Massachusetts.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a much more dynamic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, as well as a tree - created for Leominster, Massachusetts travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I think it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but instead project emotional journeys by means of the pictures they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of almost all good photographers in that they oftentimes tell whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be communicated with mere words. I attempted to do something much the same to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Leominster logo design but also to illustrate the depth in her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Leominster logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely enjoy and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A however my customer, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man genuinely hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members didn’t share his aversion for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to share it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get honest opinions on the value of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they really liked the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird animal in the design world because the people that tend to hire an expert to design their business logo comprehend how essential a logo is for their company so they are much more invested in the outcome. Every logo design job possesses it’s portion of difficulties, but the greatest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Leominster, Massachusetts publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped segment of real estate to work with, but it is the most crucial part of a published book given that it is often the very first thing a person views in the book store. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will likely ever have to promote their product and get their logo design in front of the individuals that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart yet it seems that in many instances 1 of the aspects folks usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small fledgling commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a good sense of flight and it was undoubtedly a victory.

Leominster logo design used for advertising and marketing and a label design for Vintage Situation includes an old font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be vintage cases. For this business logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that had a fluid vintage feel to it and could be used for anything from a website to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different point in time.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Leominster, Massachusetts, style include an arc with lines converging through it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design jobs considering that it seems that each and every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to business advertising, if restaurants approached their branding in the same way dental professionals do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would most likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I actually really love doing dentistry business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a concept that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 characters startled in elevation to stand for a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo design which communicated that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to describe how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If you have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that explains itself will never have the chance to be understood.

Logo design created for a hair style workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo design which communicated a spirit of ease and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a design that didn’t go the obvious course of crafting simply a stylized orchid but instead crafted a logo which implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl featured into the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the concept using the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is usually the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the focus on the perception that they really wanted to forecast to their customers.

Arabian horse logo layout developed for a horse ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian program horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Coffee shop logo style a tiny dining establishment, layout contains a customized script font which hovers over a group of luxuriant lines and also dots.

Logo layout for a software application developer the design features and also iconic component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive operations. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it meant something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the symbolism behind a logo design is equally as important as how it brands the enterprise it stands for.

A logo style including an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly recognized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a location to sell their used equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Leominster business logo dsign using an illustration that captures the interest of traffic and sends an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo layout has actually an area integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo design wasn’t really created for an Leominster, Massachusetts area farm it was in reality devised for a products broker, and this particular brand was one of a handful of which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to make a brand mark that projects esteem, success, and opulence.

Leominster Logo design for a not-for-profit, Transforming Factor Solutions - the logo style feature for ostensibly facing arrow as well as the arrowheads imply that it is a ruby shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what type of logo design that they wanted, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it grants a designer the liberty to investigate any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye in the absence of realizing where exactly the target is. Fortunately, in this particular instance, I hit a bullseye with the very first try.

Logo design made for using an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font style that is similar to a famous sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed quite a lot of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked closely with the owner to produce a logo that worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
