Mansfield Logo Design

Nearly every new Mansfield organization realizes that they are in need of a logo, but few entrepreneurs entirely recognize the crucial role their organization logo can make in their becoming successful, or why one logo works far better than another. A logo has an immediate and sustaining influence on the growth of a business, choose the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Mansfield companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand deliberation, they can be understood in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.

Retro logo design of a bike produced for a Mansfield coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and cafe were actually launching in an old section of town and wanted to project an old-fashioned tone without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled each of the jobs by creating a custom logo concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and germs designed for Mansfield medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that examines the causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the field of medicine which works with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the sole instance I remember in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be overly literal with a design and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents very literally, however it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more interesting, more focus grabbing and more meaningful.

logo layout with a leaping environment-friendly frog created for a family enjoyable facility in Mansfield.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental practices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a much more lively high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - made for Mansfield travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but instead convey emotional experiences by means of the images they capture. The thought behind this logo design was to make use of negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of the majority of good photographers in that they often tell entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be communicated with mere words. I tried to do something very similar to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Mansfield logo design but also to illustrate the depth in her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Mansfield logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A however the client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy really disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family did not share his hatred for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to talk about it with friends and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral judgements on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logos are a strange animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to design their logo design recognize how important a logo design is for their business so they are way more invested in the result. Every logo job possesses it’s allotment of challenges, but the biggest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, style for Mansfield publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, but it is the most important part of a printed book due to the fact that it is in most cases the very first thing a person views in the book store. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will ever have to publicize their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches changed to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go but it looks like that in many cases one of the things consumers often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest startup commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a good sense of air travel and it was definitely a victory.

Mansfield logo style utilized for advertising and a tag style for Vintage Situation features an archaic font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for musical instruments, that appeared to be antique cases. For this business logo design I tried to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be used for anything from a website to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different era.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Mansfield, design consist of an arc with lines intersecting through it to imply steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can easily be one of the most difficult logo jobs because it seems that every single dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company branding, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would most likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really love doing dental logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 characters surprised in height to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to explain specifically how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo design created for a hair layout workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird and an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo that carried a spirit of serenity and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a design that didn’t go the obvious course of designing merely a stylized orchid but rather created a company logo that implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is in most cases the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately put the importance on the perception that they wanted to forecast to their customers.

Logo design for a software programmer the design functions and renowned component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and hard drive management. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a connection between the software and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it meant something to the owner of the company and in many cases the significance supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the enterprise it represents.

A logo design featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly knew the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a location to sell off their previously owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Mansfield business logo dsign with an image which grabs the attention of traffic and sends an image that calls to mind the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo style has actually a field included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo idea wasn’t actually created for an Mansfield area farm it was really devised for an investments broker, and this particular logo design was one of many that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was really to produce an identity that projects esteem, effectiveness, and wealth.
Logo design made for using an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript typeface that is evocative a well-known sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project in which I worked closely with the proprietor to produce a logo which worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
