Mount Clemens Logo Design

Virtually every new Mount Clemens venture understands that they require a logo, yet few new business owners entirely understand the vital role their organization logo can make in their success, or precisely why one logo design performs more effectively than another. A company logo has a critical and lasting effect on the success of a business, choose the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life span of a business. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Mount Clemens businesses succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require contemplation, they can be comprehended in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and equally emotive at any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bike developed for a Mount Clemens coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee bar were opening up in an old part of the city and really wanted to cast a nostalgic atmosphere without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I achieved both jobs by creating a custom logo concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo design with a microscope slide as well as bacteria created for Mount Clemens clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that analyzes the causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare that works with the laboratory assessment of samplings of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the only instance I call to mind where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be overly literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents rather literally, however it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more appealing, more focus grabbing and much more memorable.

logo style with a leaping environment-friendly frog developed for a family members enjoyable facility in Mount Clemens.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental practices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to include a handful of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a much more dynamic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo including a flock of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Mount Clemens traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality because travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but instead project emotional journeys by means of the photos they record. The idea behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of the majority of professional photographers in that they oftentimes tell whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be revealed with mere words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Mount Clemens logo but also to show the depth of her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Mount Clemens logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design projects that I take on I genuinely relish and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but the client, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy really loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members didn’t share his contempt for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to share it with colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get impartial assessments on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their logo comprehend how important a logo design is for their business so they are much more vested in the final result. Every logo design job possesses it’s share of obstacles, however the largest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, style for Mount Clemens book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin segment of real estate to work with, but it really is the most critical part of a published book because it is in most cases the very first thing a person views in the book shop. With respect to a publisher, it’s the opportunity that they will ever get to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart however it seems like that in many instances one of the items individuals often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest new venture commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a sense of airline flight and it was certainly a success.

Mount Clemens logo style used for marketing as well as a tag style for Vintage Case includes an old-fashioned font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in all new cases for music instruments, that looked to be vintage cases. For this brand design I strove to come up with a logo that offered a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could easily be utilized for anything from a website to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another era.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Mount Clemens, design include an arc with lines intersecting via it to imply metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs because it appears that each and every dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company branding, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dental professionals do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would probably have an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really enjoy doing dental care logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a household nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 personalities staggered in elevation to stand for a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo which communicated that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to describe exactly how people should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If you have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo style created for a hair design workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a business logo that carried an atmosphere of peace and elegance for their new hair studio. I created a design that didn’t go the obvious direction of making merely a stylized orchid but rather delivered a business logo which implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl featured into the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird floating above the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is frequently the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately placed the main focus on the emotion that they really wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo crafted a one-of-a-kind business logo concept styled to exemplify the unique physical traits of the Arabian pedigree of equines. With a different head shape and higher tail posture, the Arabian is one of the very most quite easily identifiable equine lineages in the whole world.

Logo design for a software designer the layout attributes and also legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive managing. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a bridge between the software program and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it meant something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the significance supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it serves the company it represents.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly recognized the market was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a place to sell off their pre-owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Mount Clemens logo dsign with a graphic that garners the attention of traffic and projects an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo design has actually an area integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo concept wasn’t actually composed for an Mount Clemens regional farm it was in reality developed for a commodities broker, and this particular brand was one of several which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to make a graphic that projected esteem, effectiveness, and opulence.
Logo designed for using an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font that is reminiscent of a famous sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed dozens of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked directly with the proprietor to produce a logo which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
