Roseville Logo Design

Nearly every new Roseville business knows they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs entirely recognize the pivotal role their company logo will play in their financial success, or the reason that one business logo functions more effectively than another. A logo has an immediate and lasting effect on the growth of a company, choose the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the longevity of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Roseville companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require scrutiny, they can be grasped in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will be legible and equally emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design needs to be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo design of a bicycle produced for a Roseville coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and bistro were opening up in an old section of town and wished to project a vintage feel without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I achieved each of the tasks by creating a company logo design that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a ageless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs created for Roseville clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which investigates the root causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of medicine which works with the laboratory examination of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the only instance I recollect where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Typically I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents quite literally, however it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more captivating, more focus grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo layout with a jumping environment-friendly frog developed for a family enjoyable center in Roseville.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental offices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to include a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a better enthusiastic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, as well as a tree - created for Roseville traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche area because travel photographers don’t capture places or things but rather convey emotional experiences by means of the images they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of the majority of professional photographers in that they frequently tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be revealed with just words. I attempted to do something much the same to this logo by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Roseville logo but also to illustrate the depth to her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Roseville logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design projects that I take on I genuinely take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but my customer, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man genuinely despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his friends and family did not share his aversion for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage all of them to discuss it with friends and family members as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get objective viewpoints on the merit of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they adored the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a strange creature in the design world because the people that tend to hire a professional to create their logo design realize how essential a logo design is for their company so they are much more vested in the result. Every logo job possesses it’s portion of difficulties, however the most significant challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Roseville book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow segment of real estate to work with, yet it really is the most important part of a printed book considering that it is often the first thing a person views in the book store. For a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will ever get to advertise their label and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart however it seems that in many instances 1 of the traits people tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest fledgling commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their business logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a spirit of airline flight and it was surely a winner.

Roseville logo design utilized for advertising and marketing and also a label layout for Vintage Case features an old-fashioned font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be antique cases. For this custom logo concept I sought to come up with a logo that had a fluid retro feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another point in time.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Roseville, style include an arc with lines converging through it to indicate metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs considering that it appears that every single dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business advertising, if restaurants approached their branding in the same way dentists do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would probably contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really enjoy doing dentist business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a family members nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 personalities startled in height to represent a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be far too literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo design which communicated that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to summarize precisely how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that explains itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo style produced for a hair design workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird and a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo design which communicated a spirit of relaxation and elegance for their new hair salon. I came up with a design that did not go the obvious direction of creating merely a stylized orchid but alternatively created a logo design that suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the logo design using the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is frequently the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the attention on the perception that they really wanted to project to their customers.

Logo design for a software developer the design functions and also renowned element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive operations. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a bridge between the software and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it meant something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the meaning supporting a business logo is equally as important as how it serves the business it stands for.

Advance logo design created for a Roseville interior designer, style attribute a collection of red circles that intersect as well as replace the letter O in the middle of the logo style.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

A logo style including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly realized the market was ready for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a location to market their secondhand goods to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Roseville business logo dsign using an illustration that seizes the attention of traffic and projects an image that wakens the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo style has actually an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem concept wasn’t actually composed for an Roseville area farm it was in reality devised for an investments broker, and this company was one of a handful of that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to design a brand mark that projected confidence, financial success, and opulence.
Logo created for making use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font style that is evocative a renowned sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed dozens of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked closely with the proprietor to design a logo that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
