Saginaw Township North Logo Design

Virtually every new Saginaw Township North company realizes that they require a logo, yet few new business owners entirely are aware of the pivotal role their organization logo can perform in their financial success, or precisely why one business logo performs more effectively than another. A logo has a critical and lasting influence on the success of a company, pick the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Saginaw Township North businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require contemplation, they can be realized in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.

Retro logo design of a bicycle produced for a Saginaw Township North coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and bistro were actually launching in an older part of town and really wanted to project a vintage vibe without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled both tasks via developing a sign concept that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo layout with a microscope slide and also germs made for Saginaw Township North medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which examines the causes and effects of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare that deals with the laboratory assessment of samples of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the sole instance I remember where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves quite literally, however it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and even more memorable.

logo design with a jumping eco-friendly frog designed for a family fun center in Saginaw Township North.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental practices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a much more lively high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design including a flock of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - created for Saginaw Township North traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector because travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but rather convey emotional journeys through the photos they record. The thought behind this logo composition was to use negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they often convey entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with just words. I tried to do something similar to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Saginaw Township North logo design but also to reveal the depth of her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Saginaw Township North logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of logo design jobs that I take on I truly savor and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A however my client, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man really hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members did not share his hatred for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get impartial opinions on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they really liked the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their business logo recognize how crucial a logo design is for their organization so they are way more vested in the outcome. Every logo design job has it’s share of obstacles, however the largest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Saginaw Township North publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, however it really is the most important part of a printed book given that it is usually the very first thing a person views in the book shop. For a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will likely ever have to advertise their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart nevertheless it seems that in many instances 1 of the things people often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest startup commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a good sense of airline flight and it was surely a winner.

Saginaw Township North logo style used for advertising and also a label design for Vintage Case includes an old-fashioned font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, which appeared to be vintage cases. For this brand design I strove to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old style feel to it and could be used for every thing from a web site to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another generation.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Saginaw Township North, design consist of an arc with lines intersecting with it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo design jobs due to the fact that it seems that every single dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business marketing, if restaurants approached their branding in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would most likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really enjoy doing dental care logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a family not-for-profit, the logo features 4 characters staggered in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization hopes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo that communicated that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to describe how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that explains itself will never have the chance to be understood.

Logo style produced for a hair style studio featuring a script font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo that communicated a sense of contentment and elegance for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept that did not go the obvious path of designing just a stylized orchid but rather created a logo which implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is usually the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the importance on the emotion that they really wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo layout for a software application designer the style functions and legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive managing. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it meant something to the owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism behind a logo design is just as important as how it serves the organization it represents.

A logo style featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly realized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a place to sell their previously owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Saginaw Township North business logo dsign with an image that grabs the interest of traffic and projects an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.

Logo created for making use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font that is evocative a renowned sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed loads of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking in which I worked directly with the proprietor to develop a business logo that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
