Eden Prairie Logo Design

Each and every new Eden Prairie company understands that they are in need of a logo, however few entrepreneurs thoroughly are aware of the crucial role their logo design can play in their becoming successful, or exactly why one logo design works far better than another. A company logo has a critical and long-term effect on the success of a company, choose the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life span of an organization. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Eden Prairie companies succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require scrutiny, they can be comprehended in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will be legible and just as emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo should be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo design of a bike created for a Eden Prairie coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and cafe were actually launching in an old section of the town and really wanted to visualize a retro feel without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I achieved the two jobs by creating a custom logo concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also germs made for Eden Prairie clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that studies the causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the field of medicine that deals with the clinical examination of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the only instance I recollect where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Generally I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more captivating, more interest grabbing and more memorable.

logo layout with a leaping environment-friendly frog created for a household fun center in Eden Prairie.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dentists, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more dynamic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - made for Eden Prairie traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but instead communicate emotional journeys by means of the images they record. The thought behind this logo composition was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of the majority of professional photographers in that they often tell whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something the same to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Eden Prairie logo design but also to reveal the depth to her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Eden Prairie logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of logo design jobs that I take on I truly relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A but my customer, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy seriously loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family did not share his hatred for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage them to talk about it with colleagues and family as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get honest viewpoints on the benefit of a design concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a weird creature in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their logo design realize how important a logo design is for their company so they are way more vested in the final result. Every logo design project has it’s portion of challenges, however the greatest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Eden Prairie publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped slice of real estate to work with, but it is the most necessary part of a printed book because it is ordinarily the very first thing a person views in the book store. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the most ideal opportunity they will ever get to advertise their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart but it seems that in many occurrences one of the things consumers usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young start-up commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a good sense of flight and it was undoubtedly a winner.

Eden Prairie logo style made use of for advertising as well as a label design for Vintage Instance features an antiquated font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, which appeared to be antique cases. For this custom logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old style feel to it and could easily be used for anything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different generation.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Eden Prairie, style include an arc with lines converging with it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design jobs due to the fact that it appears that almost every dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to business branding, if restaurants approached their branding in the same way dentists do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably have an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I actually love doing dental care logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a design that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was evident was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a family not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 characters startled in elevation to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization hopes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to describe specifically how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo design developed for a hair layout workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo design that conveyed a spirit of ease and elegance for their new hair salon. I created a concept which didn’t go the obvious course of designing just a stylized orchid but rather crafted a logo which implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is more often than not the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the focus on the emotion that they really wanted to forecast to their clients.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo developed a one-of-a-kind logo design customized to illustrate the unique physical traits of the Arabian pedigree of horses. By having an unique head form and very high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the very most immediately recognizable equine lineages in the whole world.

Las Coffee shop logo layout a tiny dining establishment, layout includes a customized manuscript font which hovers above a team of ornate lines as well as dots.

Logo layout for a software program designer the design attributes and legendary element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and disk management. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a bridge between the software program and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it intimated something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the substance supporting a business logo is equally as important as how it brands the organization it stands for.

Evolve logo design developed for a Eden Prairie indoor developer, design function a collection of red circles that intersect and change the letter O in the middle of the logo layout.

A logo design including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly knew the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a spot to sell their previously owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Eden Prairie logo dsign utilizing a graphic that garners the attention of vehicles and sends an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo layout has actually an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo design wasn’t really created for an Eden Prairie regional farm it was actually created for a commodities broker, and this particular logo was one of several which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to generate a graphic that projected assurance, effectiveness, and opulence.
Logo design developed for making use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script typeface that is evocative a popular sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted quite a lot of restaurant logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked closely with the owner to develop a logo design which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
