Shoreview Logo Design

Each and every new Shoreview company realizes that they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs thoroughly comprehend the pivotal role their organization logo will make in their financial success, or precisely why one logo design works more effectively than another. A logo has an instant and lasting effect on the financial success of a business, go with the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of an organization. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Shoreview businesses prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require scrutiny, they can be understood in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo design will stay legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo needs to be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.

Retro logo design of a bicycle created for a Shoreview coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and cafe were opening in an old section of town and really wanted to cast an old-fashioned tone without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I accomplished both tasks by means of creating a symbol concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo style with a microscope slide and also germs made for Shoreview clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which investigates the triggers and effects of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare that works with the laboratory evaluation of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I remember in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves very literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more appealing, more attention grabbing and more memorable.

logo layout with a leaping eco-friendly frog designed for a household fun center in Shoreview.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the types of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a handful of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more lively high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and a tree - made for Shoreview traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche area because travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but rather communicate emotional journeys by means of the pictures they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they frequently share entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with mere words. I attempted to do something very similar to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Shoreview logo design but also to illustrate the depth in her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Shoreview logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of logo design projects that I take on I honestly relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A however my customer, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man really hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his friends and family did not share his aversion for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge all of them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral opinions on the value of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a strange animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their business logo recognize how important a logo design is for their company so they are much more invested in the result. Every logo project possesses it’s share of challenges, however the biggest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Shoreview publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped parcel of real estate to work with, but it is the most important part of a printed book given that it is ordinarily the primary thing a person views in the bookstore. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the most ideal opportunity they will likely ever have to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go however it seems like that in many instances one of the things people usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young start-up commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a good sense of air travel and it was undoubtedly a success.

Shoreview logo layout made use of for advertising and marketing as well as a label layout for Vintage Situation features an old-fashioned typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be much older cases. For this custom logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be utilized for anything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different era.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Shoreview, design consist of an arc with lines converging via it to indicate metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can be one of the most challenging logo design jobs considering that it seems that every dental professional integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would most likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I actually love doing dentist logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and eventually I created a layout that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a household nonprofit, the logo design features 4 characters surprised in height to represent a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the folks in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to illustrate specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If you have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo style created for a hair design workshop including a script font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a business logo that projected an atmosphere of ease and elegance for their new hair studio. I created a design which did not go the obvious course of designing just a stylized orchid but alternatively crafted a logo that implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended into the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design using the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is more often than not the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the emphasis on the perception that they really wanted to project to their clients.

Arabian horse logo style created for a steed ranch that focuses on reproducing Arabian show steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo crafted a one-of-a-kind business logo design fashioned to epitomize the unique physical traits of the Arabian pedigree of equines. With an unique head form and high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the highly easily identifiable horse lineages in the entire world.

Las Coffee shop logo layout a small dining establishment, design includes a customized script font which hovers over a team of luxuriant lines and also dots.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo layout a tiny restaurant, style contains a modified script typeface which hovers above a group of luxuriant lines and also dots.

Logo design for a software program programmer the design functions and legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive managing. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection in between the software program and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it intimated something to the owner of the business and in many cases the significance behind a logo design is equally as important as how it brands the company it stands for.

Advance logo layout developed for a Shoreview indoor developer, design attribute a series of red circles that converge and also replace the letter O in the center of the logo style.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

logo layout provided for Advanced Management Solutions, the personalities for letter V as well as A in center of words advanced have been changed to connect directly into the words listed below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This Shoreview logo design project was performed for a management coach that assists business leaders to become more effective at managing people, expectations, and productivity.

A logo design featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly realized the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a location to market their used products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Shoreview logo dsign along with a graphic which pulls in the attention of vehicles and projects an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo design has actually an area included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand idea wasn’t really designed for an Shoreview regional farm it was actually designed for an investments broker, and this logo was one of multiple that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was really to generate a image that projects confidence, financial success, and wealth.
Logo design developed for the use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font style that is reminiscent of a popular sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created loads of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked directly with the owner to produce a logo design that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
