Clinton, Mississippi Logo Design

Every new Clinton business person understands that they require a logo, however few entrepreneurs thoroughly comprehend the pivotal role their company logo can take in their becoming successful, or precisely why one business logo functions more effectively than another. A business logo has a critical and long-term impact on the viability of a company, select the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life span of a company.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Clinton, Mississippi businesses prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand deliberation, they can be understood in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will stay legible and equally emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos which operate on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo needs to be timeless and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.
Retro logo layout of a bicycle produced for a Clinton, Mississippi coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually launching in an old part of the community and really wanted to cast a retro atmosphere without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I fulfilled both tasks by designing a company logo concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and also germs created for Clinton, Mississippi medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which examines the causes and effects of diseases, especially the field of healthcare that deals with the laboratory evaluation of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the sole instance I call to mind in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Usually I try not to be extremely literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves quite literally, however it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more interesting, more interest grabbing and a lot more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping green frog created for a family members fun facility in Clinton, Mississippi.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental professionals, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a better enthusiastic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a group of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and also a tree - created for Clinton, Mississippi travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but instead reveal emotional experiences through the images they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they oftentimes share whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Clinton logo but also to show the depth in her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Clinton logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design projects that I take on I really relish and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but the client, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man truly hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his friends and family did not share his aversion for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage all of them to discuss it with friends and family members as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get unprejudiced point of views on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they really loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to design their logo design realize how important a logo is for their company so they are way more invested in the end result. Every logo job has it’s share of hurdles, but the largest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, layout for Clinton, Mississippi book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin parcel of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most necessary part of a published book because it is often the first thing a person sees in the bookstore. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity they will ever get to promote their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart but it looks like that in many occurrences 1 of the aspects individuals usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller new venture commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a feeling of air travel and it was surely a victory.

Clinton logo design made use of for marketing as well as a tag layout for Vintage Situation features an old font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be older cases. For this business logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that had a fluid old style feel to it and could easily be used for anything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different point in time.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Clinton, Mississippi, layout include an arc with lines converging via it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs because it appears that each and every dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company advertising, if restaurants approached their branding in the exact same way dental professionals do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I actually love doing dental care logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a household not-for-profit, the logo features 4 characters staggered in height to represent a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the folks in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to describe how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that explains itself will never have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout developed for a hair layout workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo that communicated an atmosphere of tranquility and class for their new hair studio. I created a concept which did not go the obvious route of making just a stylized orchid but alternatively delivered a logo design which suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is usually the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead placed the focus on the perception that they really wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Arabian horse logo design developed for a horse cattle ranch that specializes in breeding Arabian show horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo designed a one-of-a-kind brand design styled to symbolize the unique physical traits of the Arabian pedigree of horses. With a different head shape and higher tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the highly quite easily recognizable horse breeds in the world.

Logo style for a software application designer the layout functions as well as renowned component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and drive management. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it meant something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the substance behind a logo design is just as important as how it serves the business it stands for.

A logo style including an angler in the center of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly understood the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to market their secondhand goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Clinton logo dsign along with an image that seizes the attention of traffic and sends an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo style has an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo concept wasn’t really composed for an Clinton, Mississippi area farm it was really created for a commodities broker, and this particular business logo was one of several which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was to design a brand mark that projects esteem, effectiveness, and prosperity.

Clinton Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Factor Solutions - the logo layout function for ostensibly facing arrowhead and also the arrowheads indicate that it is a ruby form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what kind of logo design they desired, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it offers a designer the freedom to explore any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s hard to hit a bullseye in the absence of recognizing where exactly the target is. Luckily, in this particular instance, I hit a bullseye with the 1st go.

Logo design developed for the use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font that is evocative a well-known sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created dozens of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the United States, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking where I worked closely with the owner to design a logo which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
