Greenville, Mississippi Logo Design

Every new Greenville business realizes that they need a logo, however few entrepreneurs entirely realize the essential role their business logo can make in their financial success, or precisely why one business logo functions far better than another. A company logo has a critical and long term effect on the growth of a company, go with the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life span of a company.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Greenville, Mississippi businesses succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand deliberation, they can be grasped in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to movie screens a scalable logo will stay legible and just as emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos which function on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be timeless and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.
Retro logo design of a bicycle produced for a Greenville, Mississippi coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffee shop were opening in an old part of the city and wished to cast an old-fashioned tone without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I achieved both of these jobs by means of developing a logo design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscope slide as well as germs developed for Greenville, Mississippi clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that studies the triggers and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of medicine that deals with the laboratory evaluation of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I recollect in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents rather literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more interesting, more focus grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping eco-friendly frog developed for a family fun center in Greenville, Mississippi.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental professionals, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to include a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and also a tree - developed for Greenville, Mississippi travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but rather reveal emotional experiences by means of the photos they record. The thought behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of almost all good photographers in that they often share whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be revealed with just words. I made an effort to do something very similar to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Greenville logo but also to show the depth of her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Greenville logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design projects that I take on I seriously take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A however my customer, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man really despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family did not share his hatred for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to discuss it with friends and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get unbiased viewpoints on the worthiness of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a weird creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their business logo comprehend how essential a logo is for their organization so they are much more invested in the outcome. Every logo design job possesses it’s portion of difficulties, but the greatest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, design for Greenville, Mississippi book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most crucial part of a published book due to the fact that it is usually the primary thing a person views in the book shop. For a publishing company, it’s the opportunity they will likely ever have to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it seems that in many cases 1 of the traits consumers often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest new venture commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a sense of airline flight and it was surely a success.

Greenville logo layout used for marketing and a label layout for Vintage Instance features an archaic font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for music instruments, which looked to be antique cases. For this custom logo design I strove to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could easily be utilized for every thing from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different generation.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Greenville, Mississippi, design include an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can be one of the most difficult logo design jobs due to the fact that it appears that almost every dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business branding, if restaurants approached their branding in the same way dentists do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would most likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I really love doing dentist business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 personalities surprised in height to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design that communicated that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to explain how people should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the chance to be understood.

Logo style produced for a hair design workshop including a script font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a business logo that projected a sense of peace and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a design that did not go the obvious direction of making simply a stylized orchid but alternatively designed a company logo that implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is usually the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately laid the attention on the perception that they really wanted to project to their customers.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo layout for a software program designer the style features and also renowned element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive management. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a connection in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it intimated something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the meaning supporting a logo design is equally as important as how it serves the enterprise it stands for.

A logo style featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly realized the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a location to market their previously owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Greenville logo dsign using an image that seizes the interest of traffic and sends an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo layout has actually a field incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo design wasn’t really composed for an Greenville, Mississippi regional farm it was in reality designed for a commodities broker, and this particular brand was one of many which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was really to develop a brand mark that projected self-confidence, success, and wealth.

Greenville Logo design for a not-for-profit, Turning Factor Solutions - the logo layout attribute for outwardly facing arrow and also the arrowheads imply that it is a diamond shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what type of logo design they wanted, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it grants a designer the flexibility to investigate any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye without recognizing where exactly the target is. Luckily, in this particular instance, I hit a bullseye with the first go.

Logo design created for using an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font that is reminiscent of a renowned sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed loads of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the US, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project in which I worked closely with the owner to develop a logo design that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
