Greenville Logo Design

Nearly every new Greenville venture knows they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs fully recognize the pivotal role their organization logo can play in their success, or exactly why one logo functions better than another. A company logo has an immediate and sustaining effect on the financial success of a company, pick the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of a business. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Greenville companies succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require deliberation, they can be comprehended in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and equally emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bike created for a Greenville coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and bistro were actually opening up in an older section of the community and really wanted to cast a nostalgic feel without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I achieved both of these tasks via designing a logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo layout with a microscope slide as well as bacteria made for Greenville medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which studies the triggers and consequences of diseases, especially the branch of medicine which deals with the laboratory evaluation of samples of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the only instance I call to mind where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves very literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping eco-friendly frog developed for a household enjoyable center in Greenville.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental experts, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the business features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - created for Greenville travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I think it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead project emotional experiences by means of the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo composition was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of almost all professional photographers in that they frequently share whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be conveyed with just words. I attempted to do something similar to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Greenville logo but also to illustrate the depth to her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Greenville logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design jobs that I take on I truly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A however my client, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy really loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family did not share his scorn for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get objective point of views on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they really liked the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their logo design realize how essential a logo design is for their company so they are way more vested in the end result. Every logo job possesses it’s portion of difficulties, however the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Greenville book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped slice of real estate to work with, but it is the most crucial part of a published book considering that it is often the very first thing a person views in the book shop. With regard to a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity they will likely ever have to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart but it seems like that in many cases 1 of the traits consumers often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young startup commuter/shuttle airline situated in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a good sense of flight and it was definitely a winner.

Greenville logo layout made use of for marketing as well as a tag design for Vintage Case includes an old-fashioned font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for musical instruments, which appeared to be older cases. For this business logo design I strove to come up with a logo that offered a fluid old style feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different era.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Greenville, layout consist of an arc with lines converging with it to suggest steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo jobs considering that it appears that almost every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company marketing, if restaurants approached their branding in the exact same way dentists do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would most likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I actually love doing dental logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a family members not-for-profit, the logo features 4 characters startled in height to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the families in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to summarize exactly how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo layout produced for a hair design workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird and an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo that conveyed an atmosphere of tranquility and elegance for their new hair salon. I created a concept that did not go the obvious course of making simply a stylized orchid but alternatively designed a logo that implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is more often than not the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the attention on the feeling that they really wanted to transmit to their clients.

Logo style for a software programmer the design attributes as well as iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and disk operations. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a connection in between the software and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it represented something to the owner of the business and in many cases the significance behind a logo is just as important as how it brands the organization it stands for.

A logo design featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly understood the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a location to sell off their secondhand goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Greenville logo dsign utilizing an illustration that grabs the attention of traffic and sends an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo style has an area included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand design wasn’t actually produced for an Greenville regional farm it was in reality designed for a products broker, and this particular company logo was one of several that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was actually to generate an identity that projects trust, success, and prosperity.
Logo designed for the use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font that is evocative a famous sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked closely with the proprietor to design a logo which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
