Florissant, Missouri Logo Design

Each and every new Florissant business person knows they need a logo, yet few new business owners fully understand the key role their logo design can take in their financial success, or why one business logo performs better than another. A company logo has a critical and lasting impact on the success of a company, go with the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the longevity of a business.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Florissant, Missouri businesses prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand consideration, they can be comprehended in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from labels to movie screens a scalable logo design will remain legible and just as emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be lasting and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.
Retro logo layout of a bike produced for a Florissant, Missouri coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually opening in an old part of the community and wished to cast a nostalgic atmosphere without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I accomplished the two jobs via creating a symbol design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo style with a microscope slide and also germs designed for Florissant, Missouri medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which analyzes the root causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare that deals with the clinical examination of samplings of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the sole instance I call to mind where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be overly literal with a design and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more appealing, more focus grabbing and a lot more meaningful.

logo style with a leaping environment-friendly frog designed for a household fun center in Florissant, Missouri.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental experts, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a much more dynamic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design including a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and a tree - designed for Florissant, Missouri travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche profession because travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead project emotional experiences by means of the photos they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to use negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of almost all good photographers in that they often share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be revealed with just words. I tried to do something much the same to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Florissant logo but also to illustrate the depth in her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Florissant logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design projects that I take on I really savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but the client, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy seriously hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members didn’t share his aversion for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get objective judgements on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their logo design recognize how crucial a logo design is for their company so they are way more vested in the final result. Every logo design job has it’s share of obstacles, but the greatest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, style for Florissant, Missouri publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow piece of real estate to work with, yet it is the most essential part of a published book considering that it is in most cases the first thing a person views in the book store. For a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity they will ever have to promote their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go nevertheless it seems like that in many instances one of the aspects consumers tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller start-up commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a spirit of flight and it was definitely a victory.

Florissant logo layout utilized for advertising as well as a label style for Vintage Situation includes an old-fashioned font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, which appeared to be older cases. For this custom logo design I sought to come up with a logo that had a fluid old style feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a web site to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different era.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Florissant, Missouri, design include an arc with lines converging through it to indicate metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental business logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design jobs considering that it appears that almost every dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to business branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental practices do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really love doing dentist logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a design that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a family not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 characters startled in elevation to represent a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be far too literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization hopes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that communicated that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to describe specifically how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that explains itself won’t have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo layout created for a hair layout studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a business logo which related a sense of peace and class for their new hair studio. I created a concept that didn’t go the obvious path of crafting just a stylized orchid but instead crafted a logo that implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is frequently the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately placed the emphasis on the perception that they wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo layout for a software designer the layout attributes as well as iconic aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive operations. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a connection in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it represented something to the owner of the company and in many cases the meaning supporting a business logo is just as important as how it serves the company it represents.

A logo layout featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly recognized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a location to market their previously owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Florissant logo dsign using an image that seizes the interest of vehicles and sends an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo design has a field integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo design wasn’t really designed for an Florissant, Missouri regional farm it was really devised for an investments broker, and this logo design was one of several that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was to generate a image that projects assurance, effectiveness, and opulence.

Florissant Logo design for a not-for-profit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo design feature for outwardly facing arrow and the arrowheads imply that it is a ruby shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what type of logo design that they wanted, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the opportunity to delve into any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye in the absence of recognizing where exactly the target is. Luckily, in this particular instance, I struck a bullseye with the first try.

Logo made for making use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font that is evocative a famous sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed loads of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked directly with the proprietor to develop a logo design that worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
