Warrensburg Logo Design

Every new Warrensburg company realizes that they are in need of a logo, yet few entrepreneurs thoroughly understand the essential role their organization logo can play in their becoming successful, or exactly why one logo design works better than another. A logo has a critical and long term impact on the growth of a business, go with the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, select the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of a business. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Warrensburg companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand consideration, they can be comprehended in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will be legible and equally emotive at any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design needs to be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.

Retro logo design of a bike produced for a Warrensburg coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually opening in an older part of the area and hoped to project an old-fashioned tone without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I accomplished each of the jobs via designing a trademark concept that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a ageless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and germs made for Warrensburg medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that examines the triggers and consequences of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare which deals with the clinical examination of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the only instance I recollect where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Typically I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, yet it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more appealing, more interest grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo design with a jumping eco-friendly frog developed for a family fun facility in Warrensburg.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the types of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental experts, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and a tree - made for Warrensburg travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality because travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but instead reveal emotional journeys through the images they record. The idea behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to project more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they oftentimes convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with just words. I tried to do something similar to this logo design by making use of the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Warrensburg logo but also to reveal the depth to her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Warrensburg logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A however the client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man seriously hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members did not share his aversion for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge them to talk about it with friends and family as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get objective judgements on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they really liked the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their logo design understand how essential a logo design is for their organization so they are much more vested in the outcome. Every logo design job possesses it’s portion of obstacles, however the most significant challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Warrensburg publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, yet it is the most critical part of a published book given that it is often the initial thing a person views in the book store. Concerning a publisher, it’s the best opportunity that they will likely ever get to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart nevertheless it seems that in many occurrences 1 of the aspects people tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller startup commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a good sense of air travel and it was undoubtedly a success.

Warrensburg logo layout utilized for advertising and marketing as well as a tag design for Vintage Instance includes an archaic font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, that looked to be much older cases. For this brand concept I attempted to come up with a logo that offered a fluid vintage feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a website to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another point in time.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Warrensburg, design include an arc with lines intersecting with it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo jobs because it seems that almost every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business marketing, if restaurants approached their advertising in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would most likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I actually love doing dental logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a household nonprofit, the logo design features 4 personalities startled in height to represent a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the families in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be far too literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to explain precisely how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that explains itself won’t have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo design created for a hair layout workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo which projected a feeling of serenity and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a design which didn’t go the obvious direction of designing just a stylized orchid but rather designed a logo which implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is generally the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately placed the importance on the perception that they really wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Logo style for a software application developer the style functions as well as iconic aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and drive management. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a connection between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it intimated something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the symbolism supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the organization it stands for.

A logo design including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly understood the market was primed for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a place to sell off their used items to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Warrensburg logo design dsign along with an illustration that seizes the attention of traffic and sends an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo layout has actually an area included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand idea wasn’t actually composed for an Warrensburg area farm it was actually developed for an investments broker, and this company was one of a handful of that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was really to produce a image that projects confidence, effectiveness, and prosperity.
Logo made for making use of a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script typeface that is evocative a famous sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created dozens of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked closely with the business owner to produce a logo that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
