Wentzville, Missouri Logo Design

Nearly every new Wentzville company understands that they need a logo, however few entrepreneurs fully grasp the key role their logo can perform in their success, or precisely why one business logo performs far better than another. A logo design has a critical and sustaining influence on the growth of a business, select the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the longevity of a business.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Wentzville, Missouri businesses prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand scrutiny, they can be realized in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will stay legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo needs to be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo style of a bike developed for a Wentzville, Missouri coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually opening up in an old part of the town and really wanted to cast an old-fashioned feel without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I achieved the two jobs by creating a company logo concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide and germs developed for Wentzville, Missouri clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which investigates the causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare that works with the clinical evaluation of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I remember where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be overly literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents quite literally, yet it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more interesting, more interest grabbing and even more memorable.

logo layout with a leaping green frog created for a family enjoyable center in Wentzville, Missouri.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental professionals, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the business features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a much more dynamic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - created for Wentzville, Missouri travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche field due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but instead reveal emotional experiences through the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of the majority of professional photographers in that they often convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with just words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Wentzville logo but also to illustrate the depth in her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Wentzville logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design projects that I take on I truly enjoy and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A however my customer, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy genuinely despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family didn’t share his hatred for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to talk about it with colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get honest point of views on the worthiness of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they really liked the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their logo realize how important a logo design is for their organization so they are way more invested in the outcome. Every logo design job has it’s portion of challenges, but the most significant challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Wentzville, Missouri publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped parcel of real estate to work with, however it is the most critical part of a printed book due to the fact that it is often the primary thing a person sees in the book store. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity they will likely ever have to promote their product and get their logo design in front of the individuals that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go nevertheless it seems like that in many instances 1 of the things individuals tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle airline situated in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a sense of airline flight and it was definitely a winner.

Wentzville logo design utilized for marketing and also a tag style for Vintage Case includes an old-fashioned font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be older cases. For this custom logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that had a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be utilized for anything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another era.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Wentzville, Missouri, design consist of an arc with lines converging via it to indicate metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can easily be one of the most difficult logo jobs considering that it appears that almost every dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental practices do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would most likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really enjoy doing dentistry logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a concept that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 characters startled in height to represent a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the folks in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo that communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to explain precisely how people should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that illustrates itself won’t have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo layout created for a hair design studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo which related a sense of relaxation and class for their new hair studio. I created a concept which didn’t go the obvious direction of creating merely a stylized orchid but alternatively designed a logo which implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is oftentimes the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the attention on the perception that they wanted to forecast to their clients.

Arabian equine logo layout created for an equine cattle ranch that specializes in reproducing Arabian show equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo design for a software designer the design attributes as well as renowned aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and disk managing. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a connection in between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it symbolized something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the symbolism supporting a business logo is equally as important as how it brands the business it represents.

A logo style including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly realized the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a spot to sell off their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Wentzville logo design dsign with an image which grabs the interest of traffic and projects an image that wakens the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo layout has an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem design wasn’t really designed for an Wentzville, Missouri regional farm it was really designed for a products broker, and this particular company logo was one of many which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to generate a brand mark that projects assurance, financial success, and opulence.

Wentzville Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo design feature for ostensibly facing arrowhead and the arrowheads imply that it is a ruby form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what kind of logo design they preferred, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it gives a designer the flexibility to explore any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye in the absence of realizing where the target is. Luckily, in this particular case, I nailed a bullseye with the first try.

Logo design made for the use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font that is similar to a popular sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted loads of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking in which I worked closely with the business owner to develop a business logo that worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
