ImageCo Logo & Sign

For over 2 decades ImageCo has been helping businesses of all kinds develop memorable brand identities. We’ve undertaken brand design work for ranchers, universities, diamond miners, party planners, bistros, retailers, and virtually every other kind of business concern you can think of. What makes ImageCo different compared to our competitors is that our background is rooted in the electrical sign industry so we undertake every design as if it will be utilized as an electrical sign and as a result of this approach our logo designs can, and have been used in everything from clothing labels to billboards. Our sign first technique guarantees that our logos are just as successful whether they are used in television commercials or web applications, they are consistently recognizable, comprehended, and remembered no matter of size or application.

American Made ★ Design

The thing that seriously sets ImageCo apart from other design agencies that you probably have stumbled upon in search results, companies like Thumbtack, Design Hill, Upwork, or Crowdspring is that each and every design project we are contracted to perform, we perform ourselves. Irrespective of the type of design project we undertake, logo, business website, trade show banners, or retail sign, we do not, and never will contract out our client’s work to companies based outside the US. Whenever you contact us at 1-855-IMAGECO the individual that picks up the phone is ImageCo’s owner and designer, not an agent that marks up the cost of your design project and determines the terms of how you and I conduct business.

Bellevue Logo Design

Every new Bellevue company realizes that they need a logo, however few start ups thoroughly comprehend the crucial role their business logo will make in their becoming successful, or precisely why one business logo works far better than another. A company logo has a critical and sustaining influence on the financial success of a business, go with the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, select the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the life span of a business.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Bellevue businesses prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not need deliberation, they can be comprehended in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to store signs a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and equally emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos which operate on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they feel right, and they are suitable for the product or company they brand.
  5. Relevance: a logo needs to be ageless and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from now.

understanding branding

Brand – It’s both a verb as well as a noun, it’s an identifying mark and the act of noting something to ensure that it can be identified, its origin comes from the brand burned onto animals. These days a brand signifies virtually anything with a motive, regardless if it be profit or government agencies, a brand is an inherent aspect of defining the value of something in the consumer’s mind.

Branding – Is sort of like advertising and marketing’s attractive sister, they are each from the same family, the difference being that advertising and marketing have to do with making a promise and branding’s goal is to deliver on that promise. Branding is also a calculated popularity contest targeted at a target audience, it’s objective is to produce a mental image that the audience can identify with.

Brand Image – An image planted and nurtured by advertising and marketing as well as identity design. When someone says the names Lamborghini or Corvette what we think of is their brand image, it’s a picture that exists in our minds. That image isn’t an image of a vehicle with 4 wheels that can carry us from point A to point B, the the mental image we have (or at least I have) is of freedom, elegance, of something dangerous and exotic . That is brand image and that is what makes individuals buy those brands. Brand image is why people get most things, from Nike to Adidas Chevy or Ford, Democrats or Republicans … all driven by brand images that we can relate to.

Branding Companies – If you look back at the origin of the majority of branding firms you’ll find that they are frequently re-branded marketing companies. When a person claims they are in advertising the majority of people will likely have a preconceived notion about the type of work they do anything that can be seen, felt or listened to are part of a brand identity.

Brand Identity Designers
– A brand identity designer is a visual designer that specializes in a kind of visual design that helps form the perception of a firm, a product or an institution. Brand identity designers create logo designs, signage designs, product packaging, as well as collateral material such as cards, stationery, and sales brochures. Some identity designers also design websites and also software interfaces. The necessary role of a brand identity designer is to create the visual cues as well as a psychological tone with the objective of affecting activities, end results and also assumptions.

select signs/logos

Retro logo layout of a bicycle produced for a Bellevue coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffee bar were opening up in an old part of the town and really wanted to visualize a vintage atmosphere without appearing as boring or low energy. I fulfilled both of these jobs via designing a trademark concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and germs developed for Bellevue clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which researches the causes and effects of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare which deals with the laboratory examination of samplings of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves rather literally, however it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more interesting, more attention grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo layout with a jumping environment-friendly frog created for a household fun facility in Bellevue.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the types of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental practices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to feature a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a much more dynamic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo including a flock of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and a tree - made for Bellevue traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality because travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but rather communicate emotional journeys by means of the photos they capture. The idea behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they oftentimes convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with just words. I tried to do something similar to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Bellevue logo but also to illustrate the depth of her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Bellevue logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design projects that I take on I really savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but the customer, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man genuinely disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his aversion for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get objective viewpoints on the benefit of a design concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they really loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Business logos are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that tend to hire an expert to create their business logo realize how crucial a logo design is for their business so they are much more invested in the outcome. Every logo design job possesses it’s portion of difficulties, but the biggest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, style for Bellevue publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most crucial part of a published book due to the fact that it is often the primary thing a person views in the bookstore. For a publishing company, it’s the most ideal opportunity they will likely ever get to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches changed to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart however it looks like that in many occurrences one of the traits consumers often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a feeling of flight and it was certainly a success.

Bellevue logo style made use of for advertising and marketing as well as a label layout for Vintage Case features an old-fashioned font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that appeared to be much older cases. For this logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid vintage feel to it and could be used for everything from a web site to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another point in time.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Bellevue, style include an arc with lines intersecting with it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most challenging logo design jobs because it appears that every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business marketing, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the same way dental practitioners do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really enjoy doing dentistry business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a layout that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 personalities staggered in height to represent a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the families in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to describe how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that describes itself won’t have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo layout developed for a Bellevue hair style workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a company logo that related a spirit of calmness and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a design which did not go the obvious direction of creating just a stylized orchid but instead delivered a logo that implied a flower in the formation of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the concept using the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is generally the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately put the emphasis on the perception that they wanted to transmit to their clients.

Arabian steed logo design developed for a steed cattle ranch that concentrates on reproducing Arabian show equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo created a unique business logo concept fashioned to exemplify the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of horses. By having an unique head form and very high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the very most immediately identifiable equine lineages in the entire world.

Las Cafe, A Bellevue Coffee shop logo layout a small restaurant, design includes a modified manuscript typeface which floats above a team of luxuriant lines as well as dots.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Cafe logo layout a little restaurant, layout includes a changed script typeface which hovers over a team of ornate lines and also dots.

Logo design for a software application designer the design attributes and also renowned Bellevue aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive operations. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection in between the software program and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it represented something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism behind a business logo is equally as important as how it brands the organization it stands for.

Develop logo layout created for a Bellevueindoor designer, layout attribute a series of red circles that converge and also change the letter O in the center of the logo design.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

Evolv Design is a Bellevue interior design company and this logo design is representational of the work that an interior designer does in. An interior designer is a person who plans, researches, coordinates, and manages such projects. Interior design is a multifaceted occupation that consists of conceptual development, space planning, site examinations, programming, research study, interacting with the stakeholders of a project, construction supervision, and implementation of the design.

logo layout done for Advanced Leadership Solutions in Bellevue, the personalities for letter V as well as A in middle of the word advanced have actually been changed to link straight into the words listed below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Bellevue logo design assignment was undertaken for a management guide that helps business professionals to become more efficient at managing people, expectations, and productivity.

A Bellevue business logo layout including an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly knew the market was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a place to sell their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts.

I created their Bellevue logo design with a graphic that pulls in the interest of vehicles and projects an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.

Logo layout MQ farms, this Bellevue company logo layout has a field included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo idea wasn’t actually composed for an Bellevue area farm it was actually designed for a products broker, and this trademark was one of a handful of that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to generate a brand mark that projects trust, effectiveness, and opulence.

Bellevue Logo design for a not-for-profit, Turning Point Solutions - the logo design attribute for ostensibly encountering arrowhead and the arrowheads indicate that it is a diamond shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what kind of logo design they desired, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it offers a designer the freedom to investigate any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye without realizing where the target is. Luckily, in this case, I hit a bullseye with the first try.

Logo design created for using a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript typeface that is similar to a popular Bellevue sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted quite a lot of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the US, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked closely with the proprietor to develop a business logo which worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
