Papillion, Nebraska Logo Design

Nearly every new Papillion business knows they require a logo, however few new business owners entirely comprehend the pivotal role their logo design will perform in their success, or exactly why one logo works better than another. A logo has an instant and long-term impact on the prosperity of a company, choose the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of an organization.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Papillion, Nebraska businesses prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these 5 things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand deliberation, they can be comprehended in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will be legible and equally emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be ageless and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.
Retro logo design of a bicycle created for a Papillion, Nebraska coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually opening up in an older part of town and hoped to project a vintage feel without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I achieved the two tasks by developing a custom logo concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscope slide as well as germs designed for Papillion, Nebraska clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which studies the triggers and effects of diseases, especially the field of medicine which works with the laboratory assessment of samples of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I remember where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be overly literal with a design and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves very literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more interesting, more attention grabbing and a lot more meaningful.

logo style with a leaping environment-friendly frog designed for a family fun center in Papillion, Nebraska.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the types of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental professionals, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to feature a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a better lively high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo including a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Papillion, Nebraska traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area because travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but rather communicate emotional experiences by means of the images they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they frequently convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with just words. I made an effort to do something much the same to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Papillion logo but also to illustrate the depth in her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Papillion logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design projects that I take on I really savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A however the customer, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy really hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his aversion for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge all of them to share it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get objective assessments on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a strange animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their business logo understand how essential a logo design is for their organization so they are way more vested in the final result. Every logo job has it’s allotment of hurdles, but the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, style for Papillion, Nebraska book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow parcel of real estate to work with, but it is the most crucial part of a published book considering that it is in most cases the initial thing a person views in the book shop. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity that they will ever have to promote their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go however it looks like that in many occurrences one of the aspects consumers tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small new venture commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a good sense of airline flight and it was undoubtedly a success.

Papillion logo style used for advertising and a label layout for Vintage Instance features an archaic font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand-new cases for music instruments, which looked to be older cases. For this brand concept I strove to come up with a logo that had a fluid vintage feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another point in time.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Papillion, Nebraska, layout include an arc with lines intersecting through it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design jobs due to the fact that it seems that virtually every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the exact same way dental professionals do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would probably include an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really love doing dentist logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a design that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a household not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 personalities startled in height to stand for a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wishes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design which communicated that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to summarize specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that explains itself won’t have the chance to be understood.

Logo style produced for a hair style studio including a script font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo which carried a spirit of serenity and elegance for their new hair salon. I came up with a design that did not go the obvious direction of creating merely a stylized orchid but alternatively designed a logo which suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the logo design using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is frequently the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the attention on the perception that they really wanted to project to their customers.

Logo layout for a software application designer the style attributes as well as legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive operations. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it intimated something to the owner of the business and in many cases the meaning supporting a business logo is just as important as how it brands the organization it represents.

A logo design featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly understood the market was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a place to sell off their used products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Papillion logo design dsign utilizing an image which garners the interest of traffic and projects an image that wakens the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo layout has actually an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand idea wasn’t really created for an Papillion, Nebraska area farm it was really devised for a products broker, and this company was one of many that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was really to create a brand mark that projects esteem, financial success, and opulence.

Papillion Logo design for a nonprofit, Turning Factor Solutions - the logo layout feature for externally encountering arrowhead and also the arrowheads suggest that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what type of logo design that they wanted, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the liberty to explore any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s hard to hit a bullseye without recognizing where the target is. Thankfully, in this particular case, I struck a bullseye with the very first go.

Logo made for making use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script typeface that is similar to a popular sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed dozens of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the US, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking in which I worked closely with the proprietor to create a logo design that worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
