Nevada Logo Design

Nearly every new Nevada  business knows they are in need of a logo, but few entrepreneurs entirely recognize the pivotal role their logo can make in their becoming successful, or exactly why one logo design works more effectively than another. A business logo has a critical and sustaining effect on the growth of a business, pick the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, select the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the longevity of a business.

The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Nevada companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these 5 things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand scrutiny, they can be realized in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will continue to be legible and just as emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo style of a bicycle produced for a Nevada coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening up in an old section of town and wanted to project a nostalgic vibe without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I fulfilled both of these tasks by means of developing a company logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo style with a microscope slide and also germs developed for Nevada clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that studies the triggers and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of medicine that works with the clinical examination of samplings of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the only instance I remember in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Normally I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, yet it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more captivating, more focus grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo style with a jumping eco-friendly frog made for a household fun center in Nevada.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental experts, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to feature a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a better dynamic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo including a group of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and also a tree - developed for Nevada travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but instead reveal emotional journeys through the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo composition was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of most professional photographers in that they oftentimes tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be revealed with mere words. I made an effort to do something the same to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Nevada  logo but also to reveal the depth of her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Nevada logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design projects that I take on I really take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A but my customer, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man genuinely loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members did not share his aversion for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage all of them to share it with colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get impartial judgements on the benefit of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to design their logo realize how essential a logo design is for their organization so they are way more vested in the final result. Every logo design project has it’s allotment of obstacles, but the greatest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Nevada publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, yet it really is the most important part of a printed book since it is in most cases the very first thing a person sees in the book shop. For a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will ever have to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go nevertheless it seems that in many cases 1 of the items people often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller new venture commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a sense of flight and it was certainly a winner.

Nevada logo layout used for advertising and marketing as well as a tag layout for Vintage Instance features an antiquated font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, that looked to be older cases. For this logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could be used for every thing from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another generation.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Nevada, style include an arc with lines converging with it to indicate metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can be one of the most challenging logo design projects considering that it appears that each and every dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dentists do every one of their logo designs would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really love doing dentistry logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and eventually I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a household nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 personalities startled in elevation to represent a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the folks in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo design that communicated that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to summarize how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that explains itself will never have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout developed for a hair style studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo design which carried an atmosphere of serenity and class for their new hair studio. I created a design which didn’t go the obvious route of creating just a stylized orchid but instead crafted a business logo which suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the image itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is in most cases the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately laid the emphasis on the perception that they really wanted to transmit to their clients.

Arabian equine logo layout developed for an equine ranch that specializes in reproducing Arabian show equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo designed an original business logo concept styled to embody the unique physical traits of the Arabian breed of equines. By having a different head shape and higher tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the most immediately identifiable equine lineages in the world.

Las Cafe logo style a small restaurant, style consists of a changed script typeface which floats above a team of elaborate lines as well as dots.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo layout a tiny restaurant, design consists of a changed manuscript font which floats above a team of ornate lines as well as dots.

Logo layout for a software application developer the design features and also legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive operations. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it symbolized something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism behind a logo is equally as important as how it brands the organization it stands for.

Progress logo design produced for a Nevada interior developer, design feature a collection of red circles that converge and change the letter O in the middle of the logo layout.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

logo layout done for Advanced Leadership Solutions, the characters for letter V and also A in center of words progressed have actually been modified to connect directly right into the words below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Nevada logo design job was carried out for a management specialist that enables business leaders to develop into more successful at managing people, expectations, and productivity.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly realized the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to sell their pre-owned items to other sports enthusiasts.

I designed their Nevada logo design utilizing an image which grabs the interest of traffic and projects an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.

Logo layout MQ farms, this logo layout has actually a field included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo design wasn’t really developed for an Nevada  farm it was actually developed for a commodities broker, and this creative logo was one of many that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to make a image that projects assurance, financial success, and luxury.

Nevada Logo design for a not-for-profit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo design feature for externally encountering arrow and also the arrowheads imply that it is a diamond shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what type of logo design they wanted, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it grants a designer the liberty to discover any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye without realizing where exactly the target is. Luckily, in this particular instance, I hit a bullseye with the 1st try.

Logo developed for making use of a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font style that is reminiscent of a renowned sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted loads of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked closely with the owner to produce a business logo which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
