Nevada Logo Design

Each and every new Nevada venture understands that they require a logo, however few new business owners thoroughly realize the essential role their organization logo can perform in their success, or why one logo design works more effectively than another. A company logo has a critical and long-term impact on the success of a company, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of an organization.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Nevada companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand scrutiny, they can be comprehended in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will remain legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design should be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo style of a bike produced for a Nevada coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company

This startup coffee roaster and bistro were actually launching in an older section of the community and really wanted to cast a retro vibe without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I achieved both jobs by developing a custom logo concept that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo layout with a microscope slide and also bacteria created for Nevada clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design Project

Pathology is the scientific discipline which studies the root causes and effects of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine that deals with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the only instance I remember where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Typically I try not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves quite literally, however it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more captivating, more interest grabbing and more memorable.

logo style with a jumping environment-friendly frog made for a family members enjoyable center in Nevada.

Cool Springs | Retail Branding Project

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental practices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to include a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a more enthusiastic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - developed for Nevada traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but rather reveal emotional experiences by means of the photos they record. The idea behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of almost all professional photographers in that they oftentimes convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with mere words. I attempted to do something much the same to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Nevada logo but also to show the depth of her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Nevada logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design Project

The lion’s share of custom logo design jobs that I take on I truly savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A however the customer, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man seriously disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his aversion for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get unbiased assessments on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they adored the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their business logo comprehend how crucial a logo design is for their company so they are way more invested in the final result. Every logo project has it’s portion of challenges, however the most significant challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, layout for Nevada book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design Project

The book spine is a thin segment of real estate to work with, yet it really is the most essential part of a printed book due to the fact that it is ordinarily the initial thing a person sees in the book shop. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the opportunity they will ever have to advertise their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that shop for actual books. This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design Project

Airlines arrive and go however it seems like that in many instances one of the aspects individuals often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young fledgling commuter/shuttle airline situated in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a spirit of flight and it was surely a victory.

Nevada logo design made use of for advertising and a tag design for Vintage Instance features an archaic font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design Project

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, that looked to be vintage cases. For this logo design I strove to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old style feel to it and could be used for anything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different era.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Nevada, design include an arc with lines intersecting through it to indicate steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design Project

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo projects due to the fact that it appears that almost every dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dental practices do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession. I actually love doing dental logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on. Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a concept that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.
William McNally logo developed for a household nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 characters staggered in elevation to represent a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design Project

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to relate. The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to summarize how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that illustrates itself will never have the chance to be comprehended.
Logo style developed for a hair design studio featuring a script font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a company logo that conveyed an atmosphere of peace and connection for their new hair salon. I created a concept which didn’t go the obvious path of designing just a stylized orchid but alternatively created a logo which suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is frequently the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the attention on the perception that they really wanted to forecast to their customers.
Arabian equine logo style created for a horse ranch that concentrates on reproducing Arabian program equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design Project

ImageCo crafted a distinct creative logo concept customized to manifest the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of horses. By having a distinctive head shape and higher tail posture, the Arabian is one of the very most immediately identifiable horse breeds in the entire world.
Las Coffee shop logo style a tiny dining establishment, style consists of a changed manuscript font style which floats over a group of ornate lines as well as dots.

Las Cafe | Logo Design Project

Las Coffee shop logo design a tiny dining establishment, layout contains a changed manuscript typeface which hovers over a team of elaborate lines and also dots.

Logo layout for a software designer the design attributes as well as famous aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design Project

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive management. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it meant something to the owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism supporting a business logo is equally as important as how it brands the organization it stands for.

Progress logo layout produced for a Nevada interior designer, style feature a series of red circles that converge as well as change the letter O in the center of the logo design.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design Project

Evolv Design is a Nevada interior design company and this logo design is representational of the work that an interior designer does in. logo design done for Advanced Leadership Solutions, the personalities for letter V and A in middle of the word progressed have actually been modified to link straight right into words below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Nevada logo design project was completed for a management expert that helps business professionals to become more efficient at handling people, expectations, and productivity.
A logo style featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly recognized the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a spot to sell off their used products to other sports enthusiasts.

I created their Nevada logo design utilizing an image which pulls in the attention of traffic and projects an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.

Logo style MQ farms, this logo layout has an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design

The MQ farms company logo concept wasn’t really designed for an Nevada area farm it was in reality designed for a products broker, and this logo was one of several that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was actually to create a brand mark that projected esteem, financial success, and opulence.

Nevada Logo design for a nonprofit, Turning Point Solutions - the logo layout attribute for outwardly facing arrow and also the arrowheads suggest that it is a diamond shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what kind of logo design they desired, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it grants a designer the liberty to investigate any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye without understanding where exactly the target is. Luckily, in this case, I hit a bullseye with the very first go.

Logo design developed for using a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript typeface that is similar to a well-known sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Branding

I have created dozens of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked directly with the proprietor to develop a logo design which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
