Mesquite Logo Design

Each and every new Mesquite business realizes that they require a logo, but few new business owners thoroughly are aware of the key role their business logo can perform in their financial success, or exactly why one logo works more effectively than another. A logo design has an instant and long-term impact on the financial success of a company, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the wrong one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the life span of a business. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Mesquite companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand consideration, they can be understood in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will be legible and equally emotive at virtually any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo needs to be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now.

Retro logo style of a bike produced for a Mesquite coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee bar were opening in an older section of the area and really wanted to visualize an old-fashioned tone without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished both tasks by means of designing a logo design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs made for Mesquite medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which investigates the causes and effects of diseases, especially the field of medicine which deals with the laboratory assessment of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I call to mind in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Generally I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves rather literally, however it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more captivating, more interest grabbing and even more memorable.

logo style with a jumping green frog created for a family fun facility in Mesquite.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental practices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to feature a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a much more dynamic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and a tree - developed for Mesquite traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area because travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead project emotional experiences by means of the images they capture. The thought behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of the majority of good photographers in that they oftentimes convey entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be conveyed with mere words. I made an effort to do something much the same to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Mesquite logo but also to reveal the depth in her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Mesquite logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design jobs that I take on I really savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but my customer, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man really hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his hatred for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge all of them to discuss it with friends and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral opinions on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they adored the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a weird creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their business logo realize how vital a logo is for their organization so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo job has it’s share of hurdles, however the greatest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, layout for Mesquite publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, but it is the most crucial part of a published book since it is usually the first thing a person views in the book shop. For a publisher, it’s the opportunity that they will likely ever get to advertise their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches changed to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart however it looks like that in many occurrences one of the aspects people tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest fledgling commuter/shuttle airline situated in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to conferring a sense of airline flight and it was definitely a victory.

Mesquite logo style made use of for advertising and marketing and also a tag style for Vintage Instance includes an archaic typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that looked to be older cases. For this logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old style feel to it and could easily be used for anything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different era.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Mesquite, layout include an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most challenging logo jobs due to the fact that it appears that every single dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business branding, if restaurants approached their branding in the very same way dentists do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really love doing dentistry logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a design that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 characters surprised in elevation to represent a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the folks in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design which communicated that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to summarize how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that explains itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo design produced for a hair design studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird and a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo design that projected a spirit of tranquility and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept that did not go the obvious path of crafting merely a stylized orchid but instead created a logo which suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is generally the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the emphasis on the emotion that they wanted to forecast to their clients.

Arabian horse logo style produced for an equine cattle ranch that specializes in reproducing Arabian program horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo created a unique brand concept fashioned to epitomize the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of equines. By having an identifiable head shape and high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the highly quite easily recognizable equine types in the world.

Las Cafe logo style a small dining establishment, layout consists of a customized script typeface which floats above a group of elaborate lines and dots.

Logo style for a software program designer the design features and legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and hard drive managing. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a connection in between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it meant something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the symbolism supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the business it stands for.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly realized the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a location to sell their used items to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Mesquite logo dsign along with a graphic which seizes the attention of vehicles and projects an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo style has actually an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem design wasn’t actually composed for an Mesquite area farm it was in reality devised for a products broker, and this logo design was one of many which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was really to create a brand mark that projects esteem, effectiveness, and luxury.
Logo design made for making use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is evocative a famous sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted quite a lot of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project in which I worked closely with the owner to produce a logo which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
