Sunrise Manor Logo Design

Nearly every new Sunrise Manor venture understands that they are in need of a logo, but few new business owners fully are aware of the vital role their company logo can perform in their success, or why one logo functions far better than another. A logo design has an instant and lasting effect on the growth of a business, go with the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Sunrise Manor businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand deliberation, they can be comprehended in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and equally emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.

Retro logo design of a bike developed for a Sunrise Manor coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and cafe were actually opening up in an old section of the city and wished to cast an old-fashioned tone without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I achieved both jobs via creating a logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a ageless business image.

clinical logo design with a microscope slide as well as bacteria designed for Sunrise Manor medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which studies the causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare that works with the clinical evaluation of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I call to mind in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be overly literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves rather literally, however it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more intriguing, more attention grabbing and a lot more unforgettable.

logo layout with a leaping environment-friendly frog developed for a family members enjoyable facility in Sunrise Manor.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the types of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental professionals, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the company has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a much more dynamic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and also a tree - developed for Sunrise Manor travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but rather project emotional journeys by means of the photos they record. The idea behind this logo composition was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of the majority of professional photographers in that they oftentimes tell entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be revealed with mere words. I attempted to do something similar to this logo design by making use of the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Sunrise Manor logo but also to reveal the depth of her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Sunrise Manor logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however my customer, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy seriously disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members did not share his contempt for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage all of them to share it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get unprejudiced judgements on the worthiness of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they really loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logo designs are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their business logo comprehend how essential a logo is for their business so they are way more invested in the end result. Every logo job possesses it’s portion of hurdles, but the most significant challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, style for Sunrise Manor publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender parcel of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most critical part of a published book considering that it is in most cases the very first thing a person views in the bookstore. With respect to a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will likely ever have to promote their product and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go however it looks like that in many cases one of the items individuals usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small new venture commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a sense of air travel and it was certainly a winner.

Sunrise Manor logo design utilized for marketing and also a tag style for Vintage Instance includes an archaic font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that looked to be much older cases. For this logo design I strove to come up with a logo that offered a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be used for every thing from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different point in time.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Sunrise Manor, design consist of an arc with lines converging with it to imply steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects due to the fact that it appears that every single dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business branding, if restaurants approached their branding in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I really love doing dentist logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a design that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a family members nonprofit, the logo includes 4 characters startled in height to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to summarize how people should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If people have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that explains itself won’t have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo layout produced for a hair design studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo that related a spirit of ease and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a design which did not go the obvious course of making merely a stylized orchid but instead delivered a logo design which implied a flower in the formation of a swirl featured into the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is more often than not the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the emphasis on the feeling that they really wanted to forecast to their customers.

Logo style for a software program programmer the style attributes as well as renowned aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive management. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a bridge between the software and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it represented something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the significance behind a logo design is equally as important as how it serves the company it stands for.

A logo design including an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly understood the market was ready for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a spot to sell their used products to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Sunrise Manor logo design dsign utilizing an illustration that garners the attention of vehicles and sends an image that calls to mind the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo design has an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo design wasn’t actually created for an Sunrise Manor regional farm it was actually developed for a commodities broker, and this particular brand was one of multiple that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was really to develop a brand mark that projected assurance, effectiveness, and opulence.
Logo created for using an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font that is similar to a popular sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted dozens of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking where I worked directly with the business owner to produce a business logo that worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
