New Jersey Logo Design

Every new New Jersey business professional understands that they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs thoroughly comprehend the key role their business logo will take in their becoming successful, or exactly why one logo design functions far better than another. A company logo has an immediate and sustaining influence on the growth of a business, choose the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the longevity of an organization.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help New Jersey  companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand scrutiny, they can be grasped in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and equally emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo must be lasting and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.
Retro logo layout of a bike created for a New Jersey, New Jersey coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffee shop were opening in an older section of the community and hoped to cast a vintage tone without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I achieved both jobs via developing a symbol concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria designed for New Jersey, New Jersey clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that investigates the root causes and effects of diseases, mainly the field of medicine which works with the clinical evaluation of samples of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I remember where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be extremely literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents quite literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more appealing, more attention grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo layout with a jumping environment-friendly frog made for a household fun facility in New Jersey, New Jersey.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental professionals, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the company features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to integrate a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a more enthusiastic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and also a tree - developed for New Jersey, New Jersey travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche area because travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but rather project emotional journeys by means of the pictures they record. The idea behind this logo design was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they frequently share whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be conveyed with mere words. I made an effort to do something very similar to this logo design by making use of the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  New Jersey logo but also to show the depth in her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

New Jersey logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design projects that I take on I honestly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but my client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man truly despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family didn’t share his aversion for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage them to talk about it with colleagues and family as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get unbiased viewpoints on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to create their logo design comprehend how vital a logo design is for their company so they are much more invested in the final result. Every logo design project possesses it’s share of hurdles, but the largest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for New Jersey, New Jersey book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped piece of real estate to work with, however it is the most important part of a printed book given that it is ordinarily the first thing a person sees in the book shop. With regard to a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will likely ever get to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches changed to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart yet it seems like that in many instances 1 of the traits folks often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young fledgling commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a feeling of airline flight and it was definitely a success.

New Jersey logo style utilized for advertising and also a label design for Vintage Situation includes an antiquated typeface style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that looked to be antique cases. For this logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be used for everything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another point in time.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in New Jersey, New Jersey, layout include an arc with lines converging with it to suggest steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs because it seems that each and every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the same way dental professionals do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would probably contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really enjoy doing dentistry business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a household nonprofit, the logo includes 4 characters staggered in elevation to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the folks in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo which communicated that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to summarize exactly how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that explains itself will never have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo style produced for a hair style studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird and an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo which projected a spirit of calmness and connection for their new hair salon. I created a design that did not go the obvious path of making just a stylized orchid but rather crafted a logo which implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is more often than not the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the emphasis on the perception that they wanted to forecast to their clients.

Logo design for a software application programmer the design features and legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and disk management. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a bridge in between the software program and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it symbolized something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the substance supporting a business logo is just as important as how it brands the enterprise it stands for.

A logo design including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly recognized the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to market their previously owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their New Jersey business logo dsign utilizing an illustration which garners the interest of vehicles and sends an image that calls to mind the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo style has an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo concept wasn’t actually created for an New Jersey, New Jersey area farm it was really devised for an investments broker, and this logo was one of several which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. New Jersey Logo design for a nonprofit, Turning Factor Solutions - the logo design function for outwardly encountering arrowhead and also the arrowheads indicate that it is a ruby shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what kind of logo design they wanted, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it offers a designer the liberty to delve into any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye in the absence of knowing where the target is. Fortunately, in this particular instance, I nailed a bullseye with the first shot.

Logo designed for using an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font that is similar to a renowned sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted loads of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the USA, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked directly with the proprietor to produce a business logo which worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
