New Jersey Logo Design

Virtually every new New Jersey organization understands that they are in need of a logo, however few new business owners entirely understand the vital role their logo can take in their becoming successful, or the reason that one business logo functions more effectively than another. A logo has an instant and long term influence on the financial success of a business, pick the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, select the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life span of a company.

The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help New Jersey companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand contemplation, they can be realized in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will be legible and equally emotive at any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo layout of a bicycle created for a New Jersey coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening up in an older part of the town and really wanted to cast a retro atmosphere without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I accomplished the two tasks by means of developing a symbol concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide as well as bacteria created for New Jersey medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design Project

Pathology is the scientific discipline that investigates the causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the field of medicine that deals with the clinical evaluation of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I call to mind where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a design and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves quite literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and a lot more memorable.

logo design with a jumping eco-friendly frog made for a household enjoyable center in New Jersey.

Cool Springs | Retail Branding Project

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental experts, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the business features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not really reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more lively high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and also a tree - created for New Jersey travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but rather reveal emotional experiences by means of the images they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they frequently convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be revealed with just words. I tried to do something similar to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  New Jersey logo design but also to show the depth in her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

New Jersey logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design Project

The majority of business logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely relish and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but the customer, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man genuinely despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members didn’t share his hatred for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage all of them to share it with colleagues and family as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral point of views on the worthiness of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they adored the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a weird animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to design their logo design realize how essential a logo is for their business so they are way more vested in the end result. Every logo design project has it’s portion of obstacles, but the greatest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, style for New Jersey publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design Project

The book spine is a thin piece of real estate to work with, yet it really is the most crucial part of a printed book considering that it is in most cases the first thing a person views in the book store. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity that they will likely ever have to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that purchase actual books. This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design Project

Airlines arrive and go but it seems like that in many cases 1 of the things folks usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller fledgling commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a spirit of flight and it was certainly a victory.

New Jersey logo style utilized for marketing and also a tag style for Vintage Case features an old-fashioned font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design Project

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be much older cases. For this business logo design I tried to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be utilized for anything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different generation.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in New Jersey, style include an arc with lines converging through it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design Project

Dental logos can be one of the most difficult logo jobs because it seems that almost every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the same way dental practices do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry. I really enjoy doing dentist logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on. Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.
William McNally logo created for a family members not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 personalities startled in elevation to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design Project

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the families in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution hopes to relate. The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo that communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to describe precisely how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the chance to be comprehended.
Logo layout developed for a hair style studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo design that conveyed an atmosphere of tranquility and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a design which did not go the obvious course of crafting merely a stylized orchid but rather created a logo that implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended into the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is more often than not the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the emphasis on the perception that they really wanted to project to their patrons.
Arabian horse logo layout created for an equine cattle ranch that focuses on reproducing Arabian program equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design Project

ImageCo developed a unique logotype design fashioned to symbolize the unique physical traits of the Arabian breed of horses. With a distinctive head shape and higher tail posture, the Arabian is one of the very most quite easily recognizable horse breeds in the whole world.
Las Coffee shop logo style a small dining establishment, style includes a changed manuscript typeface which floats above a team of luxuriant lines as well as dots.

Las Cafe | Logo Design Project

Las Coffee shop logo design a little restaurant, design includes a customized manuscript typeface which floats above a team of elaborate lines as well as dots.

Logo layout for a software program designer the layout features as well as iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design Project

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive management. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it meant something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the meaning supporting a logo is equally as important as how it brands the business it stands for.

Progress logo layout created for a New Jersey indoor developer, design feature a series of red circles that intersect and replace the letter O in the center of the logo style.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design Project

Evolv Design is a New Jersey interior design company and this logo design is representational of the work that an interior designer does in. logo layout done for Advanced Leadership Solutions, the personalities for letter V and also A in middle of words progressed have actually been modified to link directly into words listed below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This New Jersey logo design project was done for a leadership consultant that aids business leaders to become more successful at handling people, expectations, and productivity.
A logo style including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly realized the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a place to sell off their previously owned items to other sports enthusiasts.

I designed their New Jersey business logo design using an image that garners the interest of traffic and projects an image that wakens the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.

Logo design MQ farms, this logo design has actually an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design

The MQ farms logo concept wasn’t actually composed for an New Jersey regional farm it was actually designed for a products broker, and this particular company logo was one of several that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was actually to develop an identity that projected assurance, effectiveness, and prosperity.

New Jersey Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo layout attribute for externally dealing with arrowhead and the arrowheads imply that it is a ruby shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what type of logo design they preferred, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it grants a designer the opportunity to explore any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye in the absence of recognizing where the target is. Thankfully, in this particular case, I hit a bullseye with the 1st go.

Logo design developed for making use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is reminiscent of a renowned sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Branding

I have crafted loads of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked closely with the owner to produce a business logo that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
