Bloomfield Logo Design

Every new Bloomfield business knows they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs thoroughly realize the pivotal role their logo will perform in their becoming successful, or why one logo performs better than another. A logo has an instant and lasting impact on the financial success of a business, select the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the life of a company. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Bloomfield companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand scrutiny, they can be comprehended in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will remain legible and equally emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo needs to be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bike produced for a Bloomfield coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and bistro were actually opening up in an older section of town and wished to visualize a vintage vibe without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I achieved each of the jobs by developing a custom logo concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo layout with a microscope slide and also germs made for Bloomfield medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that studies the root causes and effects of diseases, especially the branch of medicine that deals with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the sole instance I remember in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Normally I try not to be extremely literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo layout with a jumping environment-friendly frog designed for a family members fun facility in Bloomfield.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental professionals, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to integrate a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a better enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a group of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and also a tree - made for Bloomfield travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche area because travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but rather project emotional experiences through the photos they capture. The thought behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of the majority of professional photographers in that they oftentimes share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something much the same to this logo by using the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Bloomfield logo but also to show the depth to her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Bloomfield logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design jobs that I take on I honestly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A however the customer, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy really disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his aversion for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get unprejudiced point of views on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they adored the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logos are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their logo design comprehend how important a logo design is for their company so they are much more invested in the end result. Every logo design job possesses it’s share of difficulties, but the largest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, design for Bloomfield book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped segment of real estate to work with, yet it is the most important part of a published book due to the fact that it is often the initial thing a person sees in the book shop. With regard to a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will likely ever get to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go but it seems like that in many occurrences 1 of the traits consumers tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young start-up commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and while I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a good sense of air travel and it was certainly a victory.

Bloomfield logo style utilized for marketing and a tag design for Vintage Case includes an archaic typeface style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, which seemed to be much older cases. For this business logo design I tried to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be used for every thing from a website to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another era.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Bloomfield, design include an arc with lines intersecting through it to suggest metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo jobs due to the fact that it appears that each and every dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business marketing, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental practices do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would probably include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really enjoy doing dentist logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and inevitably I created a concept that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a family members nonprofit, the logo features 4 characters staggered in elevation to represent a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to summarize precisely how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo style produced for a hair design workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a business logo which conveyed a feeling of serenity and class for their new hair salon. I created a design which did not go the obvious course of creating merely a stylized orchid but instead crafted a business logo that implied a flower in the formation of a swirl blended into the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is in most cases the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the main focus on the emotion that they really wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Arabian steed logo style produced for a horse cattle ranch that specializes in breeding Arabian show horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo layout for a software application programmer the design attributes as well as famous component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive management. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a bridge in between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it meant something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the substance supporting a logo design is equally as important as how it serves the company it represents.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly understood the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a location to market their used products to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Bloomfield logo dsign with an illustration which garners the attention of vehicles and sends an image that wakens the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo style has a field incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo concept wasn’t really produced for an Bloomfield regional farm it was actually designed for an investments broker, and this logo design was one of multiple that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was actually to produce an identity that projects self-assurance, success, and affluence.
Logo made for making use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font that is reminiscent of a popular sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created loads of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked directly with the business owner to design a logo design that worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
