TIPS FOR CHOOSING THE RIGHT LOGO DESIGNER

BUDGET

A logo design is an investment in both your time and your money so when a design firm presents a money back guarantee try to keep in mind that they simply cannot refund the time you commit which is eminently more precious than your money is.

PORTFOLIO

Many designers talk a good game but ultimately a design agency can only be judged by the quality of their portfolio, if the work in their portfolio doesn’t feature actual samples chances are they will not be able to deliver a premium logo design.

VISION

A logo’s objective is to be understood and remembered, and it’s objective is to mirror your personal vision for your business. If a logo designer isn’t focused on fulfilling your vision, the thing they are really focused on is how fast they can get paid.

Bridgeton LOGO DESIGN

For over twenty years ImageCo has been helping start ups and entrepreneurs cultivate unforgettable brand identities. We’ve undertaken logo design work for ranchers, colleges, heart surgeons, wedding singers, coffee roasters, retail stores, and virtually every other kind of business concern you can imagine. What makes us unique compared to our competitors is that our background is rooted in the electrical sign industry so we approach every design as though it will be used as an electrical sign. Because of our sign first technique our logo designs can, and have been used in everything from clothing labels to neon signs. Our sign first technique insures that our logos are equally successful whether they are used in TV commercials or website apps, they are consistently identifiable, comprehended, and always remembered irrespective of size or use.

American Made ★ Design

The one difference which really sets ImageCo apart from other design companies that you probably have found in Google’s search results, companies like Thumbtack, Design Hill, Upwork, or Crowdspring is that each and every project we are hired to do, we do in-house. Irrespective of the kind of design project we take on, brand identity design, web page, trade show exhibition, or retail sign, we do not, and never will farm out our client’s projects to contractors located outside the United States. Whenever you phone us at 1-855-IMAGECO the individual that answers the telephone is ImageCo’s owner and designer, not a go-between that marks up the price of your project and imposes the conditions of how we do business.

ASPECTS OF A POWERFUL LOGO DESIGN

It’s likely that every new Bridgeton entrepreneur realizes that they require a logo, however few start-ups fully comprehend the essential role their organization’s logo can play in their becoming successful, or the reason that one logo performs far better than another. A company logo has a critical and lasting influence on the growth of a business, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, select the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Bridgeton companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t need contemplation, they can be grasped in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from clothing labels to retail signs a scalable logo design will remain legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they feel exclusive, and they are suitable for the item or company they brand.
  5. Relevance: a business logo needs to be lasting and should feel equally relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

understanding branding

Brand – It’s a verb and a noun, it’s an identifying mark and the act of marking something so that it could be recognized, its foundation originates from the brand burned onto animals. These days a brand signifies basically anything with an intention, regardless if it be earnings or political parties, a brand is an intrinsic aspect of defining the worth of a specific thing in the consumer’s mind.

Branding – Is kind of like advertising and marketing’s sexy cousin, they are each from the very same family, the distinction being that marketing and advertising are about making a promise and branding’s objective is to deliver on that promise. Branding is also a calculated popularity competition aimed at a target audience, it’s objective is to produce a mental image that the target market will relate to.

Brand Image – An image planted and cultivated through advertising and marketing and also identity design. When someone says the names Lamborghini or Corvette what we think about is their brand image, it’s an image that exists in our minds. That image isn’t an image of a car with 4 wheels that can move us from point A to point B, the image we have (or at least I have) is of freedom, elegance, of something dangerous and exotic . That is brand image and that is what makes individuals purchase those products. Brand image is why individuals acquire specific brands, from Nike to Adidas Chevy or Ford, Democrats or Republicans … all driven by brand images that we can relate to.

Branding Agencies – If you look back at the history of the majority of branding agencies you’ll discover that they are often re-branded marketing and advertising agencies. When a person states they are in advertising many people will likely have a preconceived notion about what they do. But when someone says “I’m in branding”… it just seems more impressive, probably it’s since most people don’t recognize what it means to be in branding so it comes off as more mysterious and even attractive.

Brand Identity – Is an inclusive term that defines the visual aspects of a product or business that influence perceptions. This mainly includes the name, the logo design, the product packaging, the different colors utilized but can also include audio, lighting, texture, signs, just about anything that can be seen, touched or listened to are part of a brand identity.

Brand Identity Designers
– A brand identity designer is a designer that focuses on a kind of visual design which helps form the public image of a firm, a product or a business. Brand identity designers develop logo designs, sign designs, product packaging, and collateral products such as business cards, stationery, as well as brochures. Some identity designers also build sites and also software interfaces. The essential function of a brand identity designer is to create the visual cues and an emotional tone with the goal of affecting activities, end results and also assumptions.

Featured logos & signs

Retro logo layout of a bicycle developed for a Bridgeton coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and cafe were actually opening in an old part of the town and wanted to project a retro tone without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled each of the tasks via designing a sign concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and also germs made for Bridgeton medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which investigates the triggers and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of medicine that deals with the laboratory assessment of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the sole instance I recollect where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be excessively literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents rather literally, yet it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more attention grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping eco-friendly frog developed for a family enjoyable facility in Bridgeton.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental practices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to integrate a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more lively high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design including a group of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Bridgeton travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but instead project emotional experiences by means of the pictures they record. The idea behind this logo design was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of almost all professional photographers in that they often share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be communicated with mere words. I attempted to do something the same to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Bridgeton logo but also to reveal the depth to her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Bridgeton logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design projects that I take on I seriously savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A however my customer, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy genuinely loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family did not share his aversion for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge them to talk about it with friends and family members as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get neutral assessments on the merit of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they really loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their logo comprehend how important a logo design is for their organization so they are much more vested in the final result. Every logo job has it’s share of obstacles, but the most significant challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Bridgeton publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow piece of real estate to work with, but it really is the most essential part of a printed book due to the fact that it is ordinarily the very first thing a person views in the bookstore. For a publisher, it’s the opportunity that they will ever get to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go however it seems like that in many occurrences one of the things consumers often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a spirit of flight and it was undoubtedly a winner.

Bridgeton logo style utilized for marketing and also a label style for Vintage Case features an antiquated font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, that appeared to be much older cases. For this business logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different generation.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Bridgeton, layout consist of an arc with lines converging via it to imply steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental business logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs due to the fact that it seems that virtually every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business marketing, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental professionals do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I actually love doing dentist business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a layout that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a family nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 characters staggered in elevation to represent a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo that communicated that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to summarize exactly how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo style produced for a Bridgeton hair layout workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo that projected a spirit of tranquility and elegance for their new hair studio. I came up with a design which didn’t go the obvious path of designing simply a stylized orchid but alternatively created a logo which suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is more often than not the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the attention on the feeling that they really wanted to project to their patrons.

Arabian steed logo design created for a horse cattle ranch that focuses on reproducing Arabian program horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo crafted a distinct company logo concept fashioned to manifest the unique physical traits of the Arabian pedigree of equines. By having a different head shape and very high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the most quite easily identifiable horse types in the world.

Las Cafe, A Bridgeton restaurant logo layout a tiny dining establishment, layout includes a customized script font style which hovers over a team of elaborate lines and also dots.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Cafe logo style a little dining establishment, style contains a changed manuscript font which hovers above a team of elaborate lines and also dots.

Logo design for a software programmer the layout functions and renowned Bridgeton aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk management. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a connection between the software and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it meant something to the owner of the business and in many cases the substance behind a business logo is just as important as how it serves the organization it stands for.

Evolve logo layout created for a Bridgetoninterior designer, layout attribute a collection of red circles that intersect and change the letter O in the center of the logo style.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

Evolv Design is a Bridgeton interior design company and this logo design is representational of the work that an interior designer does in. An interior designer is someone who prepares, investigates, coordinates, and oversees such projects. logo design done for Advanced Leadership Solutions in Bridgeton, the characters for letter V and A in center of the word progressed have actually been modified to connect directly into the words listed below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Bridgeton logo design project was carried out for a management coach that enables business professionals to develop into more successful at managing people, expectations, and productivity.

A Bridgeton business logo layout including an angler in the center of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly understood the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a spot to market their secondhand equipment to other sports enthusiasts.

I designed their Bridgeton logo design design utilizing an image which seizes the attention of traffic and sends an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.

Logo layout MQ ranches, this Bridgeton company logo layout has actually an area included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand design wasn’t really created for an Bridgeton regional farm it was actually devised for an investments broker, and this creative logo was one of several which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was actually to develop a image that projected confidence, effectiveness, and opulence.

Bridgeton Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo style feature for externally encountering arrow and also the arrowheads indicate that it is a diamond shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what kind of logo design that they preferred, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it grants a designer the freedom to explore any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s tricky to hit a bullseye without realizing where exactly the target is. Thankfully, in this case, I hit a bullseye with the very first go.

Logo design created for the use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font style that is evocative a renowned Bridgeton sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created loads of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the United States, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking where I worked directly with the proprietor to produce a logo design that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
