Glassboro Logo Design

Virtually every new Glassboro venture knows they are in need of a logo, however few new business owners thoroughly grasp the pivotal role their business logo can take in their becoming successful, or precisely why one logo functions more effectively than another. A logo design has an immediate and long term influence on the success of a business, select the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life span of an organization. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Glassboro businesses succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand consideration, they can be understood in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will be legible and just as emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be timeless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now.

Retro logo design of a bike developed for a Glassboro coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and cafe were actually opening up in an older part of the community and wished to cast a vintage tone without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I fulfilled the two jobs via creating a company logo concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo design with a microscope slide and bacteria made for Glassboro clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which investigates the root causes and effects of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine which works with the clinical evaluation of samplings of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the only instance I recall in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves quite literally, however it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more captivating, more focus grabbing and a lot more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping green frog developed for a household fun center in Glassboro.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental practices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to include a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, as well as a tree - created for Glassboro travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I think it is a niche profession because travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but instead project emotional experiences through the images they record. The thought behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of the majority of good photographers in that they often share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be revealed with mere words. I tried to do something much the same to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Glassboro logo design but also to reveal the depth to her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Glassboro logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely enjoy and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however the client, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy truly disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family did not share his contempt for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage them to discuss it with colleagues and family members as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get objective point of views on the value of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that tend to hire a professional to design their logo design recognize how important a logo design is for their organization so they are way more invested in the final result. Every logo job possesses it’s portion of obstacles, however the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Glassboro publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin parcel of real estate to work with, however it really is the most necessary part of a published book considering that it is in most cases the initial thing a person views in the bookstore. With regard to a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity they will likely ever have to publicize their product and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart but it looks like that in many cases 1 of the traits folks usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young startup commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a feeling of air travel and it was certainly a winner.

Glassboro logo layout utilized for advertising and marketing and also a label design for Vintage Instance features an old-fashioned font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, which seemed to be older cases. For this custom logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different generation.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Glassboro, layout include an arc with lines intersecting via it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging logo jobs considering that it seems that each and every dentist incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably have an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really love doing dentist logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a design that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family nonprofit, the logo design features 4 characters surprised in height to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that communicated that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to illustrate precisely how people should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that explains itself will never have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo design created for a hair style studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird and a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo that communicated a feeling of tranquility and elegance for their new hair studio. I came up with a design which didn’t go the obvious path of making merely a stylized orchid but alternatively crafted a logo that implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the logo design using the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is oftentimes the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the focus on the perception that they really wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo design for a software programmer the style functions and renowned aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive management. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection in between the software and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it intimated something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the significance behind a logo design is just as important as how it serves the enterprise it represents.

A logo style featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly recognized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a spot to market their used equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Glassboro business logo dsign using an illustration which captures the interest of vehicles and projects an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo design has actually an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand concept wasn’t actually developed for an Glassboro regional farm it was in reality created for a products broker, and this creative logo was one of several that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was really to generate a graphic that projected trust, success, and wealth.
Logo design developed for making use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script typeface that is evocative a well-known sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created dozens of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project in which I worked closely with the proprietor to create a business logo which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
