Kearny, New Jersey Logo Design

Each and every new Kearny venture realizes that they require a logo, but few new business owners thoroughly comprehend the pivotal role their business logo can perform in their becoming successful, or exactly why one logo functions far better than another. A business logo has an instant and sustaining influence on the success of a business, go with the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the wrong one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the life of a business.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Kearny, New Jersey companies succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand deliberation, they can be realized in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will remain legible and just as emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design needs to be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo layout of a bike created for a Kearny, New Jersey coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and cafe were actually opening in an older section of the town and wished to project an old-fashioned vibe without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I fulfilled each of the tasks via developing a symbol concept that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and also germs developed for Kearny, New Jersey clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that researches the causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the field of medicine that deals with the clinical examination of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the only instance I remember where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be overly literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents quite literally, but it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more intriguing, more attention grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo design with a jumping eco-friendly frog created for a family fun center in Kearny, New Jersey.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental experts, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a much more lively high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Kearny, New Jersey traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead reveal emotional experiences through the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of almost all professional photographers in that they often share entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with just words. I made an effort to do something comparable to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Kearny logo but also to show the depth to her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Kearny logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design jobs that I take on I really take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however the client, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man really despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family didn’t share his hatred for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get objective judgements on the benefit of a design concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his whole family and they adored the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their logo design realize how vital a logo is for their company so they are much more vested in the result. Every logo design project possesses it’s share of obstacles, but the most significant challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Kearny, New Jersey book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender slice of real estate to work with, however it is the most necessary part of a published book since it is often the first thing a person sees in the bookstore. Concerning a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will ever have to advertise their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go nevertheless it seems like that in many cases 1 of the things consumers tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a feeling of air travel and it was surely a success.

Kearny logo layout utilized for marketing and a tag design for Vintage Case features an antiquated typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand-new cases for music instruments, that looked to be much older cases. For this custom logo concept I sought to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different point in time.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Kearny, New Jersey, design consist of an arc with lines converging with it to indicate metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo projects considering that it seems that every dentist incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the exact same way dental practices do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really love doing dentist business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a design that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a household nonprofit, the logo features 4 personalities startled in height to represent a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the folks in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo design which communicated that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to explain exactly how people should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo layout created for a hair design workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo design that conveyed a spirit of contentment and connection for their new hair salon. I created a design that didn’t go the obvious route of creating just a stylized orchid but alternatively created a logo which implied a flower in the formation of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is in most cases the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the emphasis on the feeling that they wanted to transmit to their clients.

Arabian equine logo layout produced for a steed ranch that concentrates on reproducing Arabian show horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Coffee shop logo design a little dining establishment, layout consists of a changed manuscript typeface which hovers over a team of elaborate lines and dots.

Logo style for a software program developer the style attributes as well as iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and drive managing. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it represented something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the significance behind a business logo is just as important as how it brands the company it represents.

Progress logo layout produced for a Kearny, New Jersey interior designer, style feature a collection of red circles that converge and replace the letter O in the center of the logo style.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

logo style done for Advanced Management Solutions, the characters for letter V and also A in middle of the word progressed have actually been modified to tie directly right into words listed below.

A logo design including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly realized the market was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to sell off their secondhand products to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Kearny logo dsign with an image which pulls in the attention of vehicles and projects an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo design has an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo concept wasn’t actually composed for an Kearny, New Jersey area farm it was in reality developed for a commodities broker, and this particular logo design was one of several that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was really to create a brand mark that projects self-assurance, success, and wealth.

Kearny Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Factor Solutions - the logo layout attribute for outwardly encountering arrowhead and also the arrowheads imply that it is a ruby form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what kind of logo design they desired, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it offers a designer the liberty to explore any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s hard to hit a bullseye without realizing where the target is. Luckily, in this case, I hit a bullseye with the very first shot.

Logo designed for the use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript typeface that is evocative a famous sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed dozens of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project in which I worked directly with the business owner to create a business logo that worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
