Kearny Logo Design

Every new Kearny business knows they need a logo, however few entrepreneurs fully understand the essential role their logo design can take in their financial success, or the reason that one logo functions more effectively than another. A logo design has a critical and lasting impact on the growth of a business, pick the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Kearny companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand deliberation, they can be realized in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will be legible and equally emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle produced for a Kearny coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and bistro were launching in an old part of the area and really wanted to visualize a nostalgic tone without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished both jobs by means of developing a trademark concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and also germs created for Kearny clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that analyzes the triggers and effects of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare that deals with the clinical evaluation of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I call to mind in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be overly literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents very literally, yet it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more appealing, more focus grabbing and a lot more unforgettable.

logo layout with a leaping green frog made for a household fun facility in Kearny.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the business features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to incorporate a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a better enthusiastic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, as well as a tree - created for Kearny travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but instead communicate emotional journeys through the images they record. The thought behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of almost all professional photographers in that they frequently convey whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with just words. I tried to do something similar to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Kearny logo design but also to illustrate the depth in her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Kearny logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design jobs that I take on I seriously relish and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but the client, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man truly loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members didn’t share his aversion for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage all of them to talk about it with colleagues and family members as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get honest viewpoints on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they really loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Business logos are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that tend to hire an expert to create their logo design comprehend how important a logo is for their business so they are way more invested in the outcome. Every logo job possesses it’s portion of challenges, but the largest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, style for Kearny book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most crucial part of a printed book because it is often the initial thing a person views in the book store. For a publisher, it’s the opportunity that they will likely ever have to publicize their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart yet it looks like that in many instances 1 of the aspects people often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller startup commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to conferring a feeling of air travel and it was surely a success.

Kearny logo design used for marketing as well as a tag style for Vintage Case features an archaic typeface layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in all new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be older cases. For this brand concept I sought to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid retro feel to it and could be used for everything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different point in time.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Kearny, style consist of an arc with lines converging through it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design jobs due to the fact that it seems that almost every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dentists do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would probably have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really enjoy doing dentistry logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and ultimately I created a concept that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a household not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 characters staggered in height to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the folks in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to describe exactly how people should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo style developed for a hair style workshop including a script font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo design that carried a feeling of ease and connection for their new hair salon. I created a design that didn’t go the obvious path of creating simply a stylized orchid but instead created a company logo which suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl featured into the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is frequently the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the emphasis on the feeling that they really wanted to project to their patrons.

Logo style for a software program programmer the style attributes as well as famous element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk managing. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it intimated something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the meaning behind a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the organization it stands for.

Evolve logo style produced for a Kearny indoor designer, design feature a series of red circles that intersect as well as replace the letter O in the center of the logo layout.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This Kearny logo design job was performed for a management specialist that aids business leaders to develop into more effective at managing people, expectations, and profitability.

A logo layout including an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly knew the market was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a spot to market their secondhand goods to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Kearny logo dsign along with an illustration which garners the attention of vehicles and projects an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo layout has an area integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo concept wasn’t really produced for an Kearny regional farm it was really created for a commodities broker, and this brand was one of a handful of which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was really to design a brand mark that projects self-assurance, success, and wealth.
Logo designed for using an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font style that is similar to a renowned sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created dozens of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked closely with the proprietor to produce a business logo which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
