Old Bridge, New Jersey Logo Design

Each and every new Old Bridge organization realizes that they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs entirely realize the essential role their logo design will perform in their financial success, or exactly why one logo design functions more effectively than another. A company logo has a critical and sustaining effect on the growth of a company, go with the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the longevity of a company.

The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Old Bridge, New Jersey companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require contemplation, they can be understood in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable business logo will be legible and equally emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo design of a bicycle created for a Old Bridge, New Jersey coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee bar were opening in an older section of the community and wanted to cast an old-fashioned vibe without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled the two tasks by creating a business logo design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and bacteria made for Old Bridge, New Jersey clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that analyzes the root causes and consequences of diseases, especially the branch of medicine which deals with the clinical assessment of samplings of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the sole instance I recollect where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Typically I try not to be extremely literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents quite literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more appealing, more interest grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo layout with a leaping environment-friendly frog developed for a family fun facility in Old Bridge, New Jersey.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental offices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the company has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a more lively high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a flock of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and a tree - created for Old Bridge, New Jersey travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality because travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but instead communicate emotional experiences through the images they record. The thought behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to project more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of the majority of professional photographers in that they often convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be conveyed with mere words. I made an effort to do something the same to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Old Bridge logo but also to illustrate the depth in her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Old Bridge logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely enjoy and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but the customer, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man genuinely disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family didn’t share his hatred for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge them to share it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get unbiased viewpoints on the benefit of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they really liked the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Business logos are a strange creature in the design world because the people that tend to hire an expert to create their logo design comprehend how vital a logo design is for their organization so they are much more invested in the end result. Every logo project possesses it’s allotment of hurdles, but the biggest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, design for Old Bridge, New Jersey book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped slice of real estate to work with, yet it really is the most essential part of a printed book because it is often the first thing a person sees in the book store. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the most ideal opportunity they will likely ever have to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart nevertheless it seems that in many cases one of the things consumers usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small fledgling commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and while I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to confering a good sense of air travel and it was surely a success.

Old Bridge logo design utilized for advertising and also a label layout for Vintage Case includes an archaic font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, which looked to be much older cases. For this business logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that had a fluid retro feel to it and could easily be used for anything from a website to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another generation.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Old Bridge, New Jersey, design consist of an arc with lines converging with it to indicate metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design jobs because it seems that every dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business branding, if dining establishments approached their branding in the very same way dentists do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would most likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I actually love doing dental care logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and inevitably I created a design that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 characters surprised in elevation to represent a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the families in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design which communicated that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to explain specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo style produced for a hair design studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo which communicated an atmosphere of relaxation and class for their new hair salon. I created a concept which did not go the obvious route of making just a stylized orchid but rather designed a company logo which suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is usually the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead placed the emphasis on the emotion that they wanted to forecast to their clients.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo layout a tiny dining establishment, design consists of a customized manuscript font which hovers above a group of ornate lines and also dots.

Logo layout for a software program developer the layout attributes as well as famous component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive managing. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge in between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it represented something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the symbolism behind a logo is just as important as how it serves the business it represents.

A logo layout featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly realized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a place to market their previously owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Old Bridge logo dsign with an image that captures the attention of traffic and sends an image that calls to mind the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo design has a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem design wasn’t actually composed for an Old Bridge, New Jersey area farm it was really designed for an investments broker, and this logo was one of several which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to make a image that projects self-assurance, effectiveness, and wealth.

Old Bridge Logo design for a not-for-profit, Transforming Factor Solutions - the logo design attribute for ostensibly facing arrowhead and the arrowheads imply that it is a ruby shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what type of logo design they wanted, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the freedom to investigate any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s hard to hit a bullseye in the absence of understanding where exactly the target is. Thankfully, in this case, I nailed a bullseye with the 1st go.

Logo designed for using an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is evocative a popular sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed loads of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking where I worked closely with the business owner to produce a logo which worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
