Paramus Logo Design

Each and every new Paramus venture understands that they are in need of a logo, however few entrepreneurs thoroughly are aware of the vital role their organization logo will make in their success, or exactly why one logo performs more effectively than another. A logo has an instant and long-term influence on the financial success of a business, select the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, select the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the longevity of a company. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Paramus businesses succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require deliberation, they can be understood in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo design will stay legible and equally emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design needs to be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo design of a bicycle produced for a Paramus coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffeehouse were opening in an older section of town and wanted to visualize a retro vibe without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I fulfilled the two tasks by means of designing a logo concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria developed for Paramus medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that investigates the triggers and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of medicine that deals with the laboratory evaluation of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the sole instance I remember in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Normally I try not to be extremely literal with a design and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves rather literally, however it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more captivating, more attention grabbing and more meaningful.

logo layout with a jumping environment-friendly frog created for a family members enjoyable center in Paramus.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the types of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental offices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the company has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to include a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a better dynamic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and a tree - developed for Paramus traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but rather reveal emotional experiences by means of the photos they capture. The idea behind this logo concept was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of most professional photographers in that they oftentimes convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be revealed with mere words. I attempted to do something comparable to this logo design by making use of the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Paramus logo but also to illustrate the depth in her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Paramus logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design jobs that I take on I seriously relish and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A however the client, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy truly despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members didn’t share his scorn for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage them to share it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get unbiased assessments on the value of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Business logos are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their logo recognize how crucial a logo design is for their business so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo design job possesses it’s share of hurdles, however the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, design for Paramus book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow piece of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most crucial part of a published book since it is usually the initial thing a person views in the bookstore. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the most ideal opportunity they will likely ever get to advertise their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart but it seems like that in many cases one of the items people usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a good sense of air travel and it was undoubtedly a winner.

Paramus logo layout made use of for advertising and marketing and a label design for Vintage Case includes an old-fashioned typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in all new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be antique cases. For this logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that had a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another generation.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Paramus, layout consist of an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logos can be one of the most difficult logo design jobs because it appears that every single dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dentists do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I actually love doing dental care logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a design that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a family not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 characters startled in elevation to represent a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the folks in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution hopes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design which communicated that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to summarize specifically how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that explains itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout developed for a hair design workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo design that carried a feeling of ease and elegance for their new hair salon. I created a concept that didn’t go the obvious direction of designing just a stylized orchid but rather created a logo that suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended into the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is frequently the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the main focus on the feeling that they wanted to forecast to their clients.

Logo layout for a software application programmer the layout features as well as iconic aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive operations. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a bridge in between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it intimated something to the owner of the business and in many cases the significance supporting a logo is equally as important as how it serves the business it stands for.

Advance logo style created for a Paramus indoor developer, design feature a collection of red circles that converge as well as replace the letter O in the center of the logo design.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Paramus logo design project was completed for a management coach that assists business leaders to become more effective at supervising people, expectations, and profitability.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly understood the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a location to sell their pre-owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Paramus logo design dsign with a graphic which pulls in the interest of traffic and projects an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo style has actually a field incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo idea wasn’t really created for an Paramus regional farm it was actually devised for an investments broker, and this particular logo was one of several which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to produce a graphic that projected self-assurance, effectiveness, and luxury.
Logo design designed for using an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript typeface that is similar to a well-known sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed loads of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project in which I worked directly with the owner to produce a logo which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
