Sicklerville Logo Design

Every new Sicklerville business knows they require a logo, however few new business owners thoroughly grasp the key role their logo will make in their financial success, or precisely why one business logo works far better than another. A business logo has an instant and sustaining effect on the prosperity of a company, pick the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the wrong one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the life span of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Sicklerville businesses succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require deliberation, they can be grasped in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will be legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be timeless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.

Retro logo design of a bicycle produced for a Sicklerville coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening in an old section of the town and really wanted to project a retro vibe without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished both tasks via developing a trademark design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and bacteria developed for Sicklerville medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that examines the triggers and consequences of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare that deals with the clinical examination of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I recollect in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be extremely literal with a design and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents very literally, yet it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more interesting, more attention grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo style with a jumping eco-friendly frog developed for a household enjoyable facility in Sicklerville.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental professionals, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the business features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a much more lively high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and a tree - developed for Sicklerville traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I think it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but rather communicate emotional experiences through the images they record. The idea behind this logo design was to use negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they oftentimes tell entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be revealed with mere words. I attempted to do something similar to this logo by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Sicklerville logo design but also to show the depth of her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Sicklerville logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of logo design projects that I take on I honestly savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but the client, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy really disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members did not share his contempt for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge them to talk about it with friends and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get unprejudiced assessments on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they really liked the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logos are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to create their business logo recognize how essential a logo design is for their organization so they are much more vested in the result. Every logo design project has it’s allotment of hurdles, however the largest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Sicklerville publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped parcel of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most important part of a published book considering that it is often the first thing a person views in the book shop. With respect to a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will ever have to publicize their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go nevertheless it seems like that in many cases 1 of the aspects individuals usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small new venture commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a sense of flight and it was certainly a winner.

Sicklerville logo layout used for advertising and marketing as well as a label style for Vintage Instance includes an antiquated font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand-new cases for musical instruments, which appeared to be antique cases. For this business logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that provided a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be used for anything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another generation.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Sicklerville, layout consist of an arc with lines converging with it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo projects due to the fact that it appears that virtually every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company branding, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the exact same way dental practices do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really enjoy doing dental care logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 characters staggered in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the families in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization hopes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to summarize how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that illustrates itself will never have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo design produced for a hair layout workshop including a script font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo design which related a feeling of tranquility and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a design that did not go the obvious route of crafting merely a stylized orchid but alternatively delivered a company logo that suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is usually the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead placed the main focus on the emotion that they wanted to project to their clients.

Logo layout for a software designer the design functions as well as legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and disk management. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it meant something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the symbolism supporting a logo design is equally as important as how it brands the enterprise it represents.

A logo style including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly recognized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a place to sell their secondhand goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Sicklerville logo dsign using a graphic that garners the attention of traffic and projects an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo layout has actually a field incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand concept wasn’t really created for an Sicklerville regional farm it was really developed for an investments broker, and this particular business logo was one of multiple which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was to generate a graphic that projects self-confidence, success, and affluence.
Logo design designed for making use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script typeface that is evocative a popular sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed dozens of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking in which I worked closely with the business owner to design a logo design that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
