Sparta Logo Design

Each and every new Sparta organization understands that they require a logo, yet few entrepreneurs entirely are aware of the vital role their organization logo can play in their financial success, or the reason that one logo design functions more effectively than another. A logo design has an immediate and lasting influence on the financial success of a company, choose the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the longevity of a business. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Sparta businesses prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require scrutiny, they can be grasped in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will stay legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.

Retro logo style of a bike developed for a Sparta coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and cafe were opening up in an older section of the city and wished to cast a retro tone without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I achieved each of the tasks by means of creating a company logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide and bacteria created for Sparta clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that studies the root causes and effects of diseases, especially the field of medicine that deals with the clinical assessment of specimens of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the only instance I recollect where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves quite literally, yet it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more interesting, more attention grabbing and more meaningful.

logo layout with a jumping eco-friendly frog created for a family members fun center in Sparta.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental experts, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the business features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and also a tree - created for Sparta traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche field because travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but rather project emotional experiences through the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they oftentimes convey whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be revealed with mere words. I tried to do something very similar to this logo design by making use of the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Sparta logo design but also to reveal the depth of her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Sparta logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design jobs that I take on I really take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A but my customer, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy seriously loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members did not share his hatred for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get impartial opinions on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they really liked the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logos are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their logo design comprehend how vital a logo design is for their organization so they are way more vested in the final result. Every logo job possesses it’s allotment of difficulties, however the most significant obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, design for Sparta book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin piece of real estate to work with, but it is the most essential part of a published book since it is usually the initial thing a person sees in the bookstore. With respect to a publisher, it’s the opportunity that they will likely ever get to promote their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go yet it seems that in many occurrences 1 of the things individuals usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young new venture commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and while I’m not certain it really “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a feeling of flight and it was certainly a winner.

Sparta logo layout used for advertising and marketing and a tag style for Vintage Instance features an antiquated typeface style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be antique cases. For this logo design I sought to come up with a logo that offered a fluid vintage feel to it and could be used for everything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another generation.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Sparta, design include an arc with lines intersecting via it to indicate steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can be one of the most difficult logo design jobs due to the fact that it appears that almost every dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business branding, if dining establishments approached their branding in the very same way dental offices do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would probably contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I actually love doing dentist business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a household nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 characters startled in height to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the folks in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be far too literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo which communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to describe specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that illustrates itself won’t have the chance to be understood.

Logo style developed for a hair style studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a business logo that communicated a feeling of simplicity and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept which didn’t go the obvious route of designing simply a stylized orchid but rather created a logo design that implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl blended into the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the logo design using the figure of a hummingbird floating above the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is usually the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the attention on the feeling that they really wanted to project to their clients.

Arabian steed logo design produced for a horse ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian program horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo crafted a distinct brand design fashioned to embody the unique physical traits of the Arabian type of horses. By having an unique head shape and very high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the very most quite easily identifiable horse lineages in the whole world.

Las Coffee shop logo layout a little restaurant, layout includes a modified manuscript typeface which floats above a team of elaborate lines and also dots.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo layout a little dining establishment, design includes a customized manuscript font which hovers above a team of ornate lines as well as dots.

Logo style for a software application programmer the style functions and also legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and drive operations. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a bridge between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it intimated something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism behind a business logo is just as important as how it serves the organization it represents.

Evolve logo style developed for a Sparta indoor developer, layout feature a series of red circles that intersect and change the letter O in the middle of the logo style.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

Evolv Design is a Sparta interior design company and this logo design is representational of the work that an interior designer does in. An interior designer is someone who prepares, researches, collaborates, and oversees such ventures. Interior design is a multifaceted occupation that involves conceptual development, area planning, site evaluations, programming, investigation, communicating with the stakeholders of a project, building and construction supervision, and execution of the design.

logo style done for Advanced Management Solutions, the personalities for letter V as well as A in center of the word advanced have been customized to link directly into words below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

A logo design featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly recognized the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a spot to market their pre-owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Sparta business logo dsign using a graphic which grabs the attention of traffic and projects an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo style has an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo idea wasn’t actually developed for an Sparta regional farm it was in reality designed for a commodities broker, and this particular logo was one of multiple that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was really to generate a image that projected self-assurance, financial success, and prosperity.
Logo design designed for using a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script typeface that is reminiscent of a well-known sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted quite a lot of restaurant logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked directly with the owner to produce a logo that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
