Tinton Falls Logo Design

Every new Tinton Falls organization understands that they need a logo, however few entrepreneurs thoroughly understand the key role their business logo can perform in their becoming successful, or why one logo functions better than another. A company logo has a critical and long-term impact on the financial success of a business, pick the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Tinton Falls companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require deliberation, they can be understood in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will be legible and just as emotive at any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bike developed for a Tinton Falls coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and cafe were actually opening in an older part of the community and wanted to project a vintage tone without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I achieved both of these tasks via developing a logo concept that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and germs developed for Tinton Falls medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which studies the root causes and effects of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine which deals with the clinical evaluation of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Normally I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves very literally, but it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more appealing, more focus grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo layout with a jumping eco-friendly frog designed for a family fun facility in Tinton Falls.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental professionals, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to incorporate a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a better dynamic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - made for Tinton Falls travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality because travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but rather convey emotional journeys by means of the photos they record. The thought behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they often convey whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with just words. I attempted to do something much the same to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Tinton Falls logo design but also to illustrate the depth to her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Tinton Falls logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design projects that I take on I genuinely savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but the customer, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man truly loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members didn’t share his aversion for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge all of them to discuss it with friends and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get impartial assessments on the value of a design. Fortunately, he discussed it with his whole family and they really liked the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logos are a weird creature in the design world because the people that tend to hire a professional to create their business logo understand how vital a logo is for their business so they are way more vested in the end result. Every logo design job has it’s allotment of hurdles, however the biggest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, layout for Tinton Falls book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped segment of real estate to work with, but it really is the most vital part of a printed book due to the fact that it is usually the very first thing a person views in the book store. For a publishing company, it’s the opportunity that they will likely ever have to promote their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart yet it seems like that in many instances one of the items individuals often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a spirit of flight and it was surely a victory.

Tinton Falls logo design utilized for advertising and marketing and a label layout for Vintage Situation includes an old font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand new cases for musical instruments, which appeared to be vintage cases. For this brand concept I tried to come up with a logo that offered a fluid retro feel to it and could be used for anything from a web site to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another generation.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Tinton Falls, layout consist of an arc with lines converging through it to indicate steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs considering that it appears that virtually every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the exact same way dental practitioners do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really love doing dental care logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a household nonprofit, the logo includes 4 characters startled in height to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the families in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be far too literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to explain exactly how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If viewers have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout produced for a hair design workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a company logo that communicated an atmosphere of serenity and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept which didn’t go the obvious direction of making simply a stylized orchid but instead delivered a company logo that implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the logo design using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is in most cases the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the attention on the feeling that they really wanted to forecast to their clients.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo layout for a software program programmer the layout attributes and iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and drive operations. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection in between the software and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it symbolized something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the significance behind a business logo is equally as important as how it brands the business it stands for.

A logo layout including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly realized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a place to sell off their secondhand equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Tinton Falls logo dsign along with an illustration that garners the interest of traffic and projects an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo style has actually an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo concept wasn’t actually developed for an Tinton Falls area farm it was really designed for a commodities broker, and this brand was one of many which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was really to produce a brand mark that projected assurance, financial success, and opulence.
Logo design designed for using an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript typeface that is reminiscent of a well-known sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed loads of restaurant logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project in which I worked closely with the business owner to produce a logo that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
