Vineland Logo Design

Virtually every new Vineland company knows they require a logo, yet few entrepreneurs fully understand the pivotal role their organization logo can play in their becoming successful, or precisely why one logo functions better than another. A business logo has a critical and sustaining influence on the growth of a business, pick the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of an organization. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Vineland companies succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require consideration, they can be understood in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will remain legible and just as emotive at virtually any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo design of a bicycle created for a Vineland coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and bistro were actually opening in an old section of the town and wished to project a vintage tone without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I achieved each of the jobs via developing a business logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo design with a microscope slide and also bacteria designed for Vineland medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that investigates the root causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine which deals with the clinical examination of specimens of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the sole instance I recall where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Typically I try not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves quite literally, however it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more appealing, more interest grabbing and more memorable.

logo layout with a jumping environment-friendly frog developed for a family members fun facility in Vineland.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental practices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to integrate a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not really reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a flock of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and a tree - developed for Vineland travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but instead communicate emotional journeys through the images they capture. The idea behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to project more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of the majority of good photographers in that they frequently tell whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be communicated with mere words. I tried to do something similar to this logo design by making use of the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Vineland logo design but also to illustrate the depth to her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Vineland logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of logo design projects that I take on I honestly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A but my client, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man truly hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family didn’t share his contempt for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge all of them to share it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get neutral judgements on the value of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they really loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their logo recognize how crucial a logo is for their business so they are much more vested in the final result. Every logo project has it’s portion of difficulties, but the most significant challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Vineland publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, but it really is the most critical part of a published book since it is in most cases the first thing a person sees in the book shop. For a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will likely ever get to spotlight their label and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart but it looks like that in many instances one of the items consumers tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small new venture commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a spirit of airline flight and it was surely a winner.

Vineland logo layout made use of for marketing and also a tag design for Vintage Instance features an archaic font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for musical instruments, which looked to be much older cases. For this logo design I strove to come up with a logo that had a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another generation.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Vineland, style consist of an arc with lines converging through it to indicate metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design jobs because it seems that every dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dentists do every one of their logo designs would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would most likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I really enjoy doing dental logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a design that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a household nonprofit, the logo features 4 personalities startled in height to represent a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wishes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to describe precisely how people should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If people have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that illustrates itself will never have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo design produced for a hair design studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo design that projected a feeling of ease and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept which did not go the obvious course of crafting simply a stylized orchid but rather designed a company logo which implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is usually the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately put the importance on the perception that they wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Arabian horse logo design created for a steed ranch that focuses on breeding Arabian show horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo developed an original custom logo design fashioned to exemplify the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of horses. With a distinctive head form and high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the highly quite easily identifiable equine types in the world.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Cafe logo style a tiny restaurant, design contains a modified script typeface which floats over a group of elaborate lines and dots.

Logo layout for a software programmer the layout features and iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and drive management. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a bridge between the software and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it intimated something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the substance supporting a business logo is equally as important as how it serves the company it represents.

Progress logo style produced for a Vineland indoor designer, style function a collection of red circles that converge and also change the letter O in the middle of the logo layout.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

logo style provided for Advanced Management Solutions, the characters for letter V and A in middle of the word advanced have actually been modified to connect straight right into the words listed below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This Vineland logo design job was done for a management guide that helps business professionals to become more successful at handling people, expectations, and productivity.

A logo style including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly realized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a location to market their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Vineland business logo dsign using an image that seizes the interest of traffic and sends an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo layout has actually an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo design wasn’t actually designed for an Vineland regional farm it was actually devised for a products broker, and this particular trademark was one of multiple that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to make a brand mark that projects assurance, financial success, and prosperity.
Logo made for making use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font style that is similar to a well-known sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created quite a lot of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked directly with the business owner to develop a business logo that worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
