Vineland, New Jersey Logo Design

Every new Vineland organization understands that they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs thoroughly comprehend the pivotal role their company logo will make in their becoming successful, or exactly why one business logo performs far better than another. A logo design has a critical and lasting effect on the growth of a business, select the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of an organization.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Vineland, New Jersey businesses succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require consideration, they can be understood in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be lasting and will feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.
Retro logo style of a bicycle developed for a Vineland, New Jersey coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually opening in an old section of the community and wanted to cast a retro tone without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled the two jobs by means of developing a symbol concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo style with a microscope slide and also bacteria made for Vineland, New Jersey medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that studies the root causes and consequences of diseases, especially the field of medicine that deals with the laboratory assessment of samplings of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the sole instance I recall where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents very literally, however it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and a lot more meaningful.

logo design with a leaping eco-friendly frog designed for a family members enjoyable center in Vineland, New Jersey.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental practices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a couple springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a better enthusiastic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and also a tree - developed for Vineland, New Jersey travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche area because travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but instead project emotional journeys by means of the images they capture. The idea behind this logo concept was to use negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of most professional photographers in that they oftentimes convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with mere words. I made an effort to do something very similar to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Vineland logo design but also to reveal the depth in her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Vineland logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design projects that I take on I truly savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but my client, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man genuinely loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family did not share his scorn for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge all of them to share it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get unbiased point of views on the benefit of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they really loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logos are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their logo design understand how vital a logo is for their organization so they are way more invested in the end result. Every logo design project has it’s portion of hurdles, but the biggest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Vineland, New Jersey publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, yet it really is the most essential part of a published book since it is often the primary thing a person views in the book shop. With regard to a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will likely ever have to spotlight their label and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go however it seems that in many instances 1 of the items individuals often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young new venture commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a good sense of airline flight and it was certainly a victory.

Vineland logo style used for advertising and marketing as well as a tag style for Vintage Situation features an old-fashioned font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in all new cases for music instruments, which looked to be antique cases. For this brand design I sought to come up with a logo that had a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different point in time.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Vineland, New Jersey, layout include an arc with lines converging with it to suggest metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logos can easily be one of the most challenging logo design projects considering that it seems that every dental professional integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business marketing, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the same way dental offices do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would most likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really love doing dental care business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and ultimately I created a design that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a household not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 personalities startled in height to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization hopes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo that communicated that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to explain how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that explains itself won’t have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo design produced for a hair layout studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a company logo that projected a feeling of ease and elegance for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept which did not go the obvious path of crafting just a stylized orchid but instead designed a logo design that suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is frequently the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the emphasis on the perception that they wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Logo style for a software designer the design functions and legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and hard drive managing. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a connection in between the software and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it represented something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the significance behind a logo design is just as important as how it serves the business it represents.

A logo design featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly understood the market was primed for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a spot to market their pre-owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Vineland logo dsign utilizing an illustration that seizes the interest of traffic and projects an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo style has actually a field integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand concept wasn’t actually developed for an Vineland, New Jersey area farm it was actually designed for a commodities broker, and this particular logo design was one of many that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to make an identity that projects trust, success, and wealth.

Vineland Logo design for a not-for-profit, Turning Point Solutions - the logo design attribute for ostensibly encountering arrowhead as well as the arrowheads imply that it is a ruby form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what kind of logo design that they preferred, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it offers a designer the liberty to explore any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s tricky to hit a bullseye in the absence of realizing where the target is. Fortunately, in this instance, I struck a bullseye with the 1st shot.

Logo design developed for the use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font that is reminiscent of a renowned sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed quite a lot of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking in which I worked directly with the business owner to develop a business logo that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
