Woodbridge, New Jersey Logo Design

Every new Woodbridge business realizes that they are in need of a logo, yet few entrepreneurs thoroughly realize the essential role their business logo can take in their becoming successful, or precisely why one logo design works more effectively than another. A logo has an immediate and sustaining effect on the success of a business, pick the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, select the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of an organization.

The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Woodbridge, New Jersey companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand scrutiny, they can be comprehended in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will remain legible and just as emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be enduring and will feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.
Retro logo design of a bike developed for a Woodbridge, New Jersey coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffee bar were opening up in an old part of the community and really wanted to cast a nostalgic feel without appearing as boring or low energy. I achieved both of these jobs by means of developing a business logo design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and bacteria developed for Woodbridge, New Jersey medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which researches the causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of medicine which works with the clinical assessment of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the only instance I recall in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Generally I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents quite literally, yet it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more attention grabbing and much more memorable.

logo style with a leaping environment-friendly frog developed for a family enjoyable facility in Woodbridge, New Jersey.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the types of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to integrate a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - developed for Woodbridge, New Jersey traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but instead project emotional journeys by means of the pictures they record. The thought behind this logo composition was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they often tell whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with just words. I tried to do something similar to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Woodbridge logo design but also to show the depth in her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Woodbridge logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design projects that I take on I really enjoy and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but my customer, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy seriously hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family did not share his contempt for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage all of them to share it with colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get objective assessments on the merit of a design. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logo designs are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to create their business logo understand how crucial a logo design is for their organization so they are way more vested in the final result. Every logo project possesses it’s portion of challenges, however the biggest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Woodbridge, New Jersey book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, but it really is the most necessary part of a published book due to the fact that it is often the initial thing a person views in the book store. Regarding a publisher, it’s the opportunity that they will likely ever get to promote their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart however it seems like that in many occurrences 1 of the items individuals tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller startup commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their business logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a spirit of airline flight and it was certainly a winner.

Woodbridge logo layout utilized for marketing and a label layout for Vintage Instance features an old font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, which appeared to be older cases. For this business logo design I tried to come up with a logo that had a fluid old style feel to it and could be used for anything from a website to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another point in time.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Woodbridge, New Jersey, design consist of an arc with lines converging via it to indicate metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can be one of the most difficult logo design jobs due to the fact that it appears that each and every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company advertising, if restaurants approached their branding in the exact same way dentists do every one of their logos would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I really enjoy doing dentist business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and inevitably I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family members nonprofit, the logo includes 4 personalities surprised in elevation to represent a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to explain exactly how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that illustrates itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo style produced for a hair style studio including a script font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a business logo that carried a sense of tranquility and class for their new hair studio. I created a design that did not go the obvious path of making just a stylized orchid but instead crafted a logo which implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the concept using the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is in most cases the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the importance on the emotion that they really wanted to forecast to their clients.

Logo style for a software designer the style functions and legendary element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and disk operations. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a connection between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it represented something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the meaning behind a logo design is just as important as how it brands the company it stands for.

A logo design featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly understood the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a place to market their used goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Woodbridge logo design dsign using an image that garners the attention of vehicles and projects an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo layout has actually an area integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo idea wasn’t really composed for an Woodbridge, New Jersey area farm it was in reality developed for a products broker, and this particular company logo was one of many which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. Woodbridge Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo style feature for ostensibly facing arrowhead as well as the arrowheads imply that it is a ruby shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what type of logo design that they would like, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it grants a designer the liberty to discover any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s hard to hit a bullseye without realizing where the target is. Fortunately, in this particular case, I struck a bullseye with the very first try.

Logo design created for making use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script typeface that is evocative a famous sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted dozens of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked directly with the business owner to produce a business logo which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
