New Mexico Logo Design

Nearly every new New Mexico organization realizes that they require a logo, but few new business owners fully grasp the crucial role their organization’s logo can take in their success, or precisely why one business logo functions far better than another. A logo has an immediate and long term impact on the prosperity of a business, select the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of an organization.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help New Mexico  companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand scrutiny, they can be grasped in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from labels to billboards a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo should be ageless and will feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.
Retro logo layout of a bicycle produced for a New Mexico, New Mexico coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffee bar were opening up in an older section of the town and hoped to cast an old-fashioned vibe without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I fulfilled the two tasks by creating a logo design that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo style with a microscope slide and also bacteria made for New Mexico, New Mexico medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which examines the root causes and effects of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine that deals with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the sole instance I recollect in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Normally I try not to be overly literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves very literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more captivating, more focus grabbing and more unforgettable.

logo style with a jumping eco-friendly frog designed for a family members fun center in New Mexico, New Mexico.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental offices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a better enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for New Mexico, New Mexico traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead communicate emotional experiences by means of the images they record. The thought behind this logo design was to make use of negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they frequently convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be revealed with mere words. I attempted to do something comparable to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  New Mexico logo design but also to illustrate the depth in her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

New Mexico logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design projects that I take on I seriously enjoy and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A however the customer, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy truly hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his hatred for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge all of them to share it with friends and family members as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral judgements on the benefit of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to design their business logo recognize how important a logo design is for their business so they are way more vested in the result. Every logo project possesses it’s portion of challenges, but the largest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, style for New Mexico, New Mexico publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped segment of real estate to work with, however it is the most vital part of a printed book considering that it is ordinarily the initial thing a person sees in the book shop. For a publisher, it’s the best opportunity that they will likely ever get to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart but it looks like that in many instances one of the things individuals tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller new venture commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to conferring a good sense of air travel and it was surely a success.

New Mexico logo style utilized for advertising and marketing and also a tag layout for Vintage Instance includes an old typeface style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, which looked to be older cases. For this brand concept I strove to come up with a logo that had a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another point in time.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in New Mexico, New Mexico, layout include an arc with lines intersecting with it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can easily be one of the most difficult logo design jobs due to the fact that it appears that almost every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dental professionals do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I really love doing dentist logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a design that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was evident was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a household not-for-profit, the logo features 4 characters startled in elevation to represent a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the folks in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to describe specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If you have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo style developed for a hair design workshop including a script font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo design that carried an atmosphere of simplicity and class for their new hair studio. I created a design that didn’t go the obvious course of crafting just a stylized orchid but instead delivered a company logo which suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is more often than not the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the importance on the feeling that they really wanted to project to their clients.

Logo design for a software application designer the design attributes and famous component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive managing. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a bridge in between the software program and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it intimated something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the symbolism supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the enterprise it stands for.

A logo style featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly realized the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a place to sell off their pre-owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their New Mexico business logo dsign utilizing an image that garners the interest of vehicles and projects an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo layout has an area integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem design wasn’t actually created for an New Mexico, New Mexico area farm it was actually developed for an investments broker, and this business logo was one of a handful of which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to make a brand mark that projects assurance, effectiveness, and wealth.

New Mexico Logo design for a nonprofit, Turning Factor Solutions - the logo design feature for ostensibly dealing with arrowhead and also the arrowheads imply that it is a ruby form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what type of logo design they preferred, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it offers a designer the liberty to investigate any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s hard to hit a bullseye in the absence of realizing where exactly the target is. Thankfully, in this particular case, I hit a bullseye with the first try.

Logo created for using an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font style that is reminiscent of a famous sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed loads of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the United States, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project in which I worked directly with the proprietor to produce a logo that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
