Roswell, New Mexico Logo Design

Nearly every new Roswell company understands that they are in need of a logo, however few new business owners are thoroughly aware of the key role their organization logo will perform in their financial success, or the reason that one business logo performs far better than another. A logo has an immediate and sustaining influence on the financial success of a business, go with the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life span of a business.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Roswell, New Mexico businesses prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require consideration, they can be understood in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo needs to be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo design of a bike developed for a Roswell, New Mexico coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and cafe were actually launching in an older part of the city and wished to cast a nostalgic feel without coming across as boring or low energy. I accomplished both jobs via designing a business logo design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria created for Roswell, New Mexico clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that examines the root causes and effects of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare that works with the clinical examination of samplings of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the sole instance I recollect in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, yet it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more appealing, more attention grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo style with a leaping eco-friendly frog designed for a household fun center in Roswell, New Mexico.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dentists, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the company features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a handful of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more lively high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I came up with was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and a tree - developed for Roswell, New Mexico travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but rather communicate emotional experiences through the images they record. The thought behind this logo concept was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of most professional photographers in that they often share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with just words. I attempted to do something similar to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Roswell logo but also to show the depth to her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Roswell logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design projects that I take on I genuinely savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A however the client, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy really despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family did not share his scorn for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage all of them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get objective assessments on the value of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their business logo realize how essential a logo is for their organization so they are much more invested in the final result. Every logo design project has it’s allotment of challenges, but the biggest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Roswell, New Mexico publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow slice of real estate to work with, however it really is the most crucial part of a printed book because it is ordinarily the very first thing a person views in the book store. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the opportunity that they will likely ever get to spotlight their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart yet it seems like that in many occurrences one of the items folks tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small start-up commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and while I’m not certain it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to confering a sense of airline flight and it was certainly a winner.

Roswell logo layout utilized for advertising as well as a tag design for Vintage Situation includes an antiquated typeface style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, which appeared to be older cases. For this business logo design I tried to come up with a logo that offered a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another point in time.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Roswell, New Mexico, style include an arc with lines intersecting via it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design jobs considering that it seems that virtually every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company branding, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dental practitioners do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I actually really love doing dentistry logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a design that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family nonprofit, the logo features 4 personalities surprised in height to stand for a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wishes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo which communicated that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to explain how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that describes itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo design developed for a hair design workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo design which communicated a feeling of contentment and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a design which did not go the obvious direction of designing just a stylized orchid but rather created a logo that implied a flower in the formation of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird floating above the image itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is more often than not the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the attention on the feeling that they wanted to project to their customers.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo design for a software program programmer the style attributes and iconic component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive management. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge in between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it represented something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the significance supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it serves the enterprise it stands for.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly understood the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a location to sell their secondhand items to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Roswell logo design dsign using a graphic that garners the attention of vehicles and projects an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo design has actually a field integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo concept wasn’t actually composed for an Roswell, New Mexico regional farm it was actually developed for a products broker, and this company logo was one of multiple that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was to create a brand mark that projected trust, effectiveness, and wealth.

Roswell Logo design for a nonprofit, Turning Point Solutions - the logo design attribute for ostensibly encountering arrowhead as well as the arrowheads suggest that it is a ruby shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what kind of logo design that they would like, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it grants a designer the flexibility to delve into any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s hard to hit a bullseye without understanding where exactly the target is. Luckily, in this particular instance, I hit a bullseye with the 1st try.

Logo design developed for the use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script typeface that is evocative a well-known sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked directly with the owner to create a business logo which worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
